My husband and I just spent the first week of August at this beautiful campsite. This was the best experience we've ever had! . Everyone's so friendly and welcoming.Very clean campsite , Washrooms Fishing is incredible . Will be returning
Great camp ground, has something for the entire family. Family of 5 with 3 kids ages 8 to 12. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. Swimming, fishing, canoeing w/ camp ground canoes, playground, exploring the wooded areas and camp fires with wood purchased on site. Chris and his wife were excellent with providing for our needs and accommodations. Highly recommended!
My boyfriend and I just recently stayed at this campground, and it was incredible. Everyone was very welcoming and the owners were terrific. We picked a more private site to camp at, and it was so quiet. It actually felt like we were alone. The lake is breathtaking, we had a decent view from where we were located. We noticed a lot of people were enjoying the lake by canoeing and swimming. We will definitely be going back, hopefully in the fall to see the beautiful colours. It was my first time camping and I will be recommending this place to everyone! Newbies and veterans. It has something for everybody. Side note, the showers were very clean! Also the water on site is completely filtrated and tastes great. It's a very dog friendly place too. 10/10!
Had the pleasure of staying here August civic holiday for 5 days with three kids. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, Chris helped me guide my trailer into the perfect spot which was much appreciated as a new RV owner! Sites are well treed compared to most privately owned camps, neighbours are not on top of you, everything was clean and well laid out. Some of the older “seasonal” trailers are run down, and not very attractive to look at, but others did a great job of making the trailers look cozy, people were all very friendly. Beach was sandy with canoes available, as well as a water trampoline we all used, it was never too busy and we enjoyed our daily swims. All in all a great family vacation, located 15 minutes from Huntsville for convenience. Welcoming hosts will definitely bring us back!
Our family is so glad we picked to camp at Muskoka Glens Campsite. Everyone has been so helpful and nice! This was our first time out in our new camper trailer and Chris was there the entire time to help out. Such a beautiful spot, We will definitely be back !
Just got home from spending 2 weeks. First few days was a girls weekend and the rest just my husband and I. Beautiful, rustic/ woodsy campground. Our site was the biggest and nicest one we have had. The owners, Chris and Cheryl were welcoming and accommodating. The dog beach was the only place we swam as it was beautiful and we could have our dog with us. The seasonal campers were all welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to return.
Tranquil campsite with the most calm waterfront I've seen! Sunsets were extremely beautiful! Owner/management of the campground was very generous and inviting! Highly recommend, I will definitley be going back!
Owners are awesome, super friendly, and helpful in every way. We were tenting on the waterfront and it was amazing. Great fishing everywhere, you can rent the canoes which was so much fun, your neighbours/seasonal neighbours are very friendly and helpful As well. This was overall a great experience for us coming from 4 hours away it was worth every minute. Easy check in/out. 10/10!
My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant experience at this beautiful campground which has such a peaceful atmosphere that anyone could enjoy! The waterfront tent site was gorgeous! The only issue we came across was with Kayla Viscardi and her group at the campsite near us. Her review below is a completely false story of events. To start, she needs to get a new watch or her phone is set to the wrong time zone as it was actually past midnight not 10:30pm when we asked their group to try to keep the noise down. The park has an 11pm no-noise rule that is clearly stated on the website and on forms you sign when entering the campground so there was no excuse for her group to claim they didn't know of this rule and to start chopping firewood at 12:15am and having loud conversations and laughing loudly, clearly had too many drinks and couldn't control their voices. Our complaint had nothing to do with the noises of someone being sick as it was happening all night long and that was not mentioned by us when we complained. We respectfully asked them to keep it down, and that's when a male from their party threatened to throw our tent in the lake while we slept, which would be endangering our lives, and threated to fight my boyfriend. We immediately got the owners involved and did not want to fight, we acted as adults would, not babies. When the owner, who was in fact the owner of the campground came by to handle the situation, they listened to the facts they were told and resolved the issue in the most professional manner they could considered they were being screamed at and sworn at by the other campers. They offered to move our campsite if we wanted and gave us further instructions on what to do if we did not feel safe since our lives had been threatened. We were totally pleased with all our interactions with the owners of this campground. We really can't wait to come back and enjoy our stay without immature adults who can't follow the rules and seem to possibly need mental help since they threaten the lives of others when asked to keep noise down. Please DO NOT let Kayla Viscardi's negative, FALSE review stop you from visiting this beautiful campground!!!
As soon we arrived, Cheryl, wife of the couple that own Muskoka Glens Campground, was there to help direct us and to guide us with our 30 ft trailer to our campsite. Both Cheryl and her husband Chris were very friendly and helpful with our other issue regarding our power. We had too many electrical things on at the same time and our power went out. Chris told us exactly what to do and it fixed it immediately. Clark Lake where the campground is located is lively and quiet. Next time we travel to the Huntsville area, we will definitely stay at Muskoka Glens again. Thanks Chery and Chris
