Located on Main Street and backing onto the beautiful Muskoka River, our Huntsville store offers an amazing retail experience. Primarily a specialty outdoor store, with the emphasis on camping equipment, paddle sports, bikes, Nordic skis, snowshoes, and outdoor clothing and footwear. In the summer, the Huntsville store also offers canoe rentals and some outfitting services. This store also carries the region’s largest selection of surfwear, water sports wakeboards, waterskis, towables and water trampolines and winter sports alpine skis, snowboards and winter clothing."

Visit, Sunday July 10, 2022. Mobility impaired accessible at front entrance, second floor has stairs. Great and varied selection of clothing, fashions, outdoor and recreational gear, including water craft rentals. Friendly and informed staff.
Thank you for such a great experience, the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. We didn’t feel rushed at all. They took their time explaining and helping us find the perfect ski gear for my husband. Thanks again to all of the guys that worked there tonight and to all the staff for being so kind. I brought my 2 year old to Algonquin Outfitters in Huntsville today to get him setup with snowboard gear. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. My child was running around the store and not super cooperative while trying on helmets and boots. The staff were very patient with him and went at his pace which was great. They installed the bindings on the board and even carried all of the gear to my car which was a fair distance from the store. The pricing on the equipment is the same as online and you get to try it on and they set it up. I highly recommend Algonquin Outfitters for all of your snowboard needs.
I had a great experience at Algonquin Outfitters in Huntsville thanks to the wonderful customer service from Bob. I purchased new equipment, used equipment, and also left some of my previously loved equipment on consignment to be sold for store credit. Bob was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He patiently took more than an hour to discuss various options and price points, and took the time to size my two children to fit properly into their new skis and boots. I highly recommend Algonquin Outfitters for your new and used ski equipment.
Had my boots on hold by Adam and after arriving had the pleasure of being treated with top - shelf customer service from all the staff. HUGE thanks to the boyzzz upstairs who helped me out get sized for boots and taking the time to put up with a rookie skier !!!! I would just go back to hang out and watch this staff in action!! Amazing experience and everything and anything you need from a beginner to advanced skier. Thanks again guys and see you all soon! Merry Christmas Jeff
Nate and his team are outstanding. My pregnant wife and 2 year old went in to get outfitted for starting to snowboard and their team looked after them to the point of carrying all the gear out to her car for her! Outstanding customer service to the AO team!
All the staff at this location is amazing. Shout out to Dave the ski specialist who was incredibly knowledgeable & patient while helping me to buy ski gear for the first time in over a decade.
Popped in for some post holiday shopping. Picked up some super on sale Yetis. Score! Took my dog in and Luna was very much welcomed! Super friendly staff.
Must-go place for kayak/canoe rent. We’ve been looking for a kayak tour and found Algonquin Outfitters, Huntsville. You can rent guided or self-guided tours there. We rent two kayaks there to do a self tour around Hunters Bay to the Narrows. Thank you for your great and kind service :-
Great service! Very helpful even with tying up the canoe to our van. Will definitely be back! Price was great, canoe was in great condition. Were also helpful in showing me how to tie the canoe up when by myself. Thanks so much for a great experience!
