My husband and I have been at Harmony Resorts for 3 years. We love the park! We have made great friends here and we look forward to being back as seasonals next year! The managers Dave and Judy are awesome! So helpful and kind! We love the East River for swimming, kayaking or simply sitting on a lawn chair enjoying a drink on a hot day! The Lagoon is home to many animals. Snapping turtles, otters, beavers and ducks to name a few! We have enjoyed being at Huntsville Lagoons and look forward to coming back next year!
We stayed in the R4 Nomad Cabin last wknd - very clean and well-equipped, great design. River was low, but we still managed to scrape out a couple kms upriver in our canoe. Judy and Dave were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be a topper on the bed, which was a tad hard for me though my husband slept fine.
We have been seasonal campers at Harmony Resorts Lagoon. The park was purchased last year and have to say the improvements being made by the staff Judy, Dave and Grant are amazing. They work tirelessly to make sure everyone is happy. The park is clean and well looked after. Staff os beyond friendly the tiny homes are cool and very clean. The river is a great spot to gather on those hot days. Bring your chair and umbrella and join the group. Always lots of laughs around the campfires and activities on long weekends are well planned out and alot of fun. Great family resort ..cant wait to see what changes are coming ...keep up the great work guys!!!
This campground is so much fun to stay at. They have live bands, kayaking, float in the river. I highly recommend it.
I was so happy during our stay at this campsite. Nice management. Very accommodating, they even let us move to the an empty campsite which is the one we like. We definitely coming back here.
We had an excellent weekend beautiful place very clean friendly environment lots of fun community events staff are very friendly and helpful peaceful would recommend % and definitely would go again
Trailer sites are easy to get in and out of, but very little shade and no privacy. Washrooms are nice and clean. Tent sites along the river are gorgeous. Walking trail was nice, beach is good, playground is alright. The only downside was that the campground feels very cramped. A lot of people trying to use a limited number of facilities.
Very nice park my tent site was large, shady and private. Washrooms were always clean. For a river beach the beach was good and easy for kids to swim, my 6 year old daughter had a very nice time here and cried when it was time to leave. My only minor thing was that on the first night we tried to burn the wood we bought from them but it was damp and only caused limited burns. That being said on the second day when the wood dried out it was fine also there was a large rain storm the night before we arrived so that would explain the wet wood. My suggestion on that is to store bagged wood in a closed, dry shed, the shed they use was open to the elements, but again this is minor and the wood is probably fine most weekends. I would camp here again and probably will sometime next year :
Organized and prepared for late-arrivals, handy map that's was personalised, close to amenities, thankfully as our truck blew up and we had to buy a new one that day, not even kidding No traffic noise. Rules enforced nicely, good little beach area and hiking. Would give a 5 except the sites are kinda tight together, we're used to a bit more distance between us and the neighbours, and the water from the hook up is very smelly, and that's coming from us who are on a well at home. All good, we brought our own water for drinking and cooking.
We stayed at R13, right on the river, there is a playground and dog park right next to the site. Plenty of Porta potties accessible for when walking around the campground. Lagoon Tent and Trailer easily accommodated our large family, including the fur baby. Highly recommend this campground, because even of the camping itself was not such a pleasurable experience the staff would have made up for it. Thank you owners and staff for making the week such a great experience!!! After the pandemic it was certainly welcomed to have a hiccup free vacation.
