Murphy brothers are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Bought a couple guitars from them, had some repairs done , bought some accessories..Been in a few times and it is always a good experience
Two very experienced brothers that have extraordinary customer service skills run this store. Definitely Niagara's Premier place for musical instruments, and all things musical. It's an added bonus to support the local economy!!
Very honest business. I got the action lowered in my guitar and they provided with advise on how to humidity the guitar and even let me try out some on the classical guitars which I’m hoping to buy it from them one day
My experience was extremely unwelcoming and rude. The owner treated me like a thief by asking me to leave my back pack at the front of the store while I shopped. It was particularly insulting because I had already purchased several guitars from these people in the past, and had service done on an instrument. I gladly took the wad of hundred dollar bills I had on me having just came from the bank ready to purchase a guitar and left. There are other musical instrument retailers in the region with much better service, online ordering, repair shops, etc. I find the quality of guitars here to be lacking as well mostly knock off brands, or non-american made "fenders".
I bought a guitar from them and all my gear. The owner seems very nice. There is another sales person who is not the most helpful. I would probably buy more when Im in getting supplies; strings etc. I feel rushed by the salesman st times. I had to return the first guitar as there was several scratch Display Model I brought it back . Upgraded to a model up Overall, i got a good price on the guitar. Guitar did not come with original box. I was a little disappointed with the customer service. I will likely try to continue to shop there. As I do like to support small businesses. The kind owner or manager who seems to be a much more pleasant fellow should give Customer Service training to the not so pleasant sales associate who I usually deal with
Dropped in to pick up a trim ring for my res head on my bass drum....sure enough, they had one. great price. Friendly. Thanks Guys.
excellent genuine service and a great selection
This is a nice little guitar shop that is owned and operated by a couple really nice, helpful guys. Has a quiet, laid back vibe and they'll let you test out any guitar in the place and even demo stuff for you. I had a factory issue with a guitar I bought from them that developed a month after I bought the guitar it was flawless when I bought it from them and they got in contact with the rep immediately and kept me in the loop the entire time and replaced the guitar no problem. Very professional guys and very down to Earth, and the shop has a nice selection of acoustics, electrics, amps, pedals, equipment, bass guitars and drum gear. I especially like their selection of Gibson, as they bring in some cool models and some of them are affordably priced. They always have a few nice sales on guitars whenever I go in. The place has a good vibe and a couple knowledgable owners. This is a great place to go check out some gear without having to listen to some young fella banging out Master of Puppets with the gain set to 11 on an amp in the store! So that's a plus too.
Bought a lefty acoustic epiphone DR100 here and apon bringing it home the frets are rather rough. Tried to polish the feetboard with lemon oil and while losing the string my high E snapped. Only loosened it a little apon restringing the first fret to the 4th on the guitar made the exact same note on every string and i somehow managed to fix it barely. This is literally a new guitar that i bought with my girlfriend tuesday march 13th in the afternoon. The person working im assuming the owner is super nice and im sure he would do a swap out for a guitar thats 30 dollars more expensive and id pay the difference. If not im sure he'd smooth out my fretboard. So it doesnt feel like sandpaper when i bend. They are nice people here im sure its just a common mistake, they seem like the folks who would make it right
Good merchandise, staff informed & knowledgeable & friendly. Good music lessons.
