Would leave a 0 star review if Google allowed it. A former nurse here, first name Joe, stole a cell phone from my neighbor while she was hospitalized. The hospital did nothing to help her recover it.
Watch your valuables here if you're unfortunate enough to have to stay there! I'd recommend Sacred Heart over them.

My boyfriend was there with pine in the chest. And he did not now what it was they. Where all smiles and fake. Did not care the nurses where have a personal conversation at the desk and she came in can I help you with a snobby attitude. Excuse me for asking for help.
The doctors how ever did hear him and understand what he was talking about and edmoted him. To do a stress test. The next day
At least he got a good meal to eat.

RUDE STAFF
WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO.
Only 5 stars to the Maternity wing
HUGE MISTAKE TO GO HERE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN DELIVERING A BABY.
They will insult you if they find out you are unemployed or don't have the level of employment they do.
You will automatically be treated like your a druggie criminal.
Especially if you aren't dressed your best.
PIUS, PRETENTIOUS, & PLAIN RUDE.

This hospital inappropriately transferred my father to North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital when he was mistaken for an uninsured. NIACH is more or less a dumping ground for the uninsured. My father had insurance, but was mistaken for an uninsured and because of that the care he received made him brain dead, due to negligent care. the response from the hospital was to make it look like he never left Deaconess, to appoint a doctor to make it look like he had conditions he never had and to perpetuate fraud to prevent internal investigations on the care delivered and stone wall until statues of limitations ran out and my fathers family were in financial ruin and so tired they basically collapsed. I have indeed enough proof to show my claim to be true and I know how this hospital treats people and what they do to avoid taking responsibility for their negligence, but its best to say, stay away from this hospital if you have any choice at all.

This hospital is unprofessional and unskilled. First of all, when I brought my dad into the ED (he had fallen and had a possible broken leg), the security asked if I had weapons. Said security guard (Avery) did not check, just asked. I easily could have lied and said security person would not have known the difference. Then, while standing their my dad said he felt like he was going to get sick and I grabbed him as he was passing out. I asked for help first and said security guard stood there at the desk and just stared at me while I was trying to hold my father. Just stared. So I started yelling for help. The security guard somewhat came forward but another PATIENT started grabbing a wheelchair. Then a nurse finally came out...I am still holding my dad who is completely out. The guard never did help and then the nurse called to the triage nurse who came and helped. So, they did get him an X-RAY right away, but after three hours we are still in the waiting room. What is worse is that there is this elderly woman who has been here for five hours. Extremely in pain. It is awful. She has asked multiple times just to see a nurse. The receptionist said she would get one, but 45 minutes later and no one ever came. Finally, you the new triage nurse (not the male ED Director who was extremely nice and helpful) opened the the door to the triage room to call another patient. The elderly simply asked if someone could help her. This new triage nurse yelled at her. No empathy. No kindness in trying to explain the situation. Said there were no rooms or beds in the hall...which was actually a lie because I happened to have to go to the bathroom and there were at least two hall beds. Nonetheless this triage nurse was completely rude and unprofessional. Regardless of the room situation, the poor woman needs someone to triage her again. It was the attitude with which the triage nurse showed zero empathy that is the most disconcerting. And to think, she had been waiting FIVE hours. UPDATE at 11:44pm. We are at the five hour mark waiting to even be called back to a room. Un-freaking-believable.
