Reviews
I never write reviews, but this case I feel it's more than warranted. I had never used a plumbing service prior to using Mr. Rooter. I was apprehensive because of the horror stories I have heard of poor customer service & technicians. However, this was not Mr. Rooter and Team. From the moment I called - both the receptionist and dispatch ladies were so helpful in getting me setup with an emergency plumber. Chris, our plumber arrived on time and was very proactive in seeking out the problem and identifying the solution. Even with the bumps leading up to the fix, Chris remained patient and extremely helpful. He could have easily said "call me when this is worked out", but instead focused on solving the problem. In addition, Chris' boss (I do not recall his name) was very focused on ensuring my problem was taken care of. Several calls were placed to me making sure everything was done and there were no issues.
I appreciated the customer service, quality of work and professionalism of the staff. I would recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone.

It was great working with Chris and the other folks from Mr. Rooter. They were friendly and we and our home were treated with respect. We were given a clear estimate up front. We were able to supply the fixtures of our choice. Our requests, however small, were honored. Our questions were answered. Old fixtures were removed and our home was left as clean as they found it. Dealing with plumbing is often not fun, but this was a very pleasant experience.

I spent $5500 to fix the shear with Mr.Rooter, after about 10 months I schedule for my free (Yes Free) camera inspection. This as you know is free they don't really stick to agreed time slot and rescheduled 3 times. After 3 reschedules technician pulls my toilet out and checks, everything is fine. He puts toilet back, but it leaks which in fact was a working toilet. Now when I call to fix, they say there is an existing problem with the toilet that is why it is leaking and Mr.Roother DO NOT KNOW why it was working fine earlier.
I see everyone can fix a regular issue, but some fix end to end and do take care of something which was working fine earlier.
Neither me nor my friends/family are NOT going to use Mr.Rooter in future or I would recommend anyone. Thanks.
I have updated this review everywhere now.

Not happy with the scheduling and billing process. They schedule 4 hour window couple days ahead, so you take that time off so they can come finish the work but nobody shows up and then you get a call 30 mins before and they say that there is a emergency or bigger job that came up so they will reschedule it again. After reschdueling, it happens again the same thing but for me there was no option but to get the work done because they opened halfway through. I paid for everything and was asked to send me final invoice to submit it to my insurance, it took them 6 weeks to send me the final invoice. Spoke to Jacqueline and ayalit and Josh and you name it, they keep telling me somebody will keep calling you and no callback till I call again after 2-3 days. Very unprofessional with everything except the work. FYI, I had a big job also that was $25000, need to basically redo plumbing for the whole 1st level. Very unhappy.

Will never call mr. Rooter for anything ever again. And the account manager Skylar has a bad attitude and is very unprofessional. I had a frozen pipe last Friday in which I called Mr. Rooter to hopefully help me find and resolve. The guy shows up and he was a nice guy and all but he spent an hour messing with my kitchen faucet in which I mentioned I don't think this area is the issue because I spent the night before treating that area with a blow dryer. He was adamant it was an issue with the faucet. Well after unscrewing one of the pipes he saw there was no water coming (hence the pipe was frozen as I had said). He then told me he will have to cut into my drywall to try and find the source. Didn't state that he was going to make many cuts, but just told me of one spot right under my kitchen floor in another room. I said OK and went back to working on my laptop. Next thing I know he made many more cuts. Hmmmmm.....OK maybe he needed to cut them to heat them up. But then he tells me, these pipes aren't cold but I decided to heat them up anyways. I'm like huh ? But again didn't think much of it. I go back to working and come back and next thing I know he has now cut into my other wall outside my room!!!! Why ? I have no idea. Finally he figures my 2nd bathroom must be the issue. And cuts more holes. He finally finds the issue and barely blow torches it because the heat from my house was more than enough to do the work for him. Finally water comes on and he charges me 1k for 4 hrs of work. $300 to heat up tworking pipes. $450 to cut into my drywall, most of which I didn't approve. I call the company to question my bill and they don't call me back for 2 days. I then call them back stating I had a question about my bill and I finally get a call back. I speak to Skylark and explain that he really didn't heat up much but he did cUT a lot of holes in my drywall even though he didn't heat up every pipe. On top of that the heat from my house fixed the freeze so why am I paying for him to "heat up" pipes that he really didn't ? On top of that the guy cut holes in areas I'm not sure why. Immediately Skylark gets an attitude and starts getting defensive. "He was there for 4 hours so he must've done something". Even though he was only at my house for 3.5 I guess I get charged for them driving over to my house ? And like I said the first hour was wasted on an area that was not an issue. So technically he did 2.5 hours of work. I tell him I just think I was over charged a bit. Then he gets smart and says "Why did you wait almost 2 weeks to say anything?" The repair happened on the 16th and I called back on the 22nd even tho I called 2 days prior but no one called back. But how is that 2 weeks ? I then say just cancel my membership as I will no longer use you guys. He continues to keep talking about him being at my house for 4 hours in which I told him yes but he didn't do 1k worth of work. Especially charging 300 bucks for heating up pipes that he really didnt. The guy says he doesn't give refunds which I say "OK I still want to cancel my membership anyways". He keeps talking about the work the guy did in which I again ask him just to cancel my membership. Now all of a sudden I hurt his feelings because now he decides to tell me "What card do you want me to refund the membership fee because we don't want to service you anymore". I'm sorry but didn't I say I would never call you guys again and to cancel my membership? I then tell him I don't know why he had to get Smart with me about when I called even though it was 2 weeks ago that the work was done but I already asked to cancel my membership so why say anything else ? He finally stops talking and finally refunds my money but man what a pain in the ass. I do not recommend calling them for any small job. They charge far too much to do it and really is not worth it. If I could go back in time, I would have did everything myself and just took a day off of work. Never will call them again and skylar I will never send anybody to your company. Horrible
