Mr. Lube in Walmart

Arrived around 10:30 dropped off car and was told it would be 15 minutes "no more than that" so I did my shopping and came back. The oil change wasn't done despite the fact that I was the only person there. I walked around for a while longer and came back at 11:20. I was told "it's done", no description no walk through of the charges, nothing. Wasn't offered the free wiper blades. $141 with tax. I drove away and noticed thick smoke blocking my rear windshield. I drove back and smoke was billowing out from my tailpipe. I went back in, asked if that was normal he said no "he must have spilled oil on a pipe". They put it back up on the ramps and at 11:40, they came inside said to me in passing "he doesn't know how to measure, he put a litre extra of oil in" no further explanation. I waited another 20 minutes with no other explanation and then was told by The employee that "the old guy was supposed to put 4.7 litres of oil he put 5.7, I can't believe he did that". I had my infant with me and had now been there since 10:30 and it was noon when I left. I asked what would happen to the car and was told that "it will be fine, the extra will burn off" No apology at all. Was given a phone number and told "he's the area manager" when I asked about compensation for my time and commented that I just paid $140 for the "15 minute" oil change to take an hour and a half and do who knows what damage to my car. To top it all off, They had left my steering wheel dirty, left an oily rag in my cup holder, left my window down and left my car running so I had to air out the car before putting my 8 month old infant in. Beyond upset with this customer service. The only decent thing is that I sent in a customer feedback form on their website as soon as I got home and I was contacted very quickly and given a full refund (although they did say I could go back to the store today to get the refund - no thanks). Will not EVER use Mr Lube again.

Went in for an oil change today. Arrived at 5:15pm. Was told that I had 1 person ahead of me and that ‘the guy’ wouldn’t be able to do it...website says they close at 8pm. How lucky my does an oil change take!?

quick and easy! Mason found a problem and fixed it for me because it happened last time my oil was changed. How convenient and EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you Saleem and Mason!!

It was Sunday and only one person on customer service. Took about an hour when we were told 30 minutes. Not coming back. You can pay the same amount at a drive through location and be done in 10 minutes.

Went to get a regular oil change and he sold me the better oil which I regret getting because it came up to $80 including tax. Then the guy at the desk said I needed a transmission fluid change and some other stuff done. No I didn't as I went to another mechanic and asked and he checked it. Thank god I didn't get it. And for some reason the oil change took so long to do. Over an hour for an oil change. I don't understand that. It's complete fraud over there. I don't trust them. I would never go back there again.
