Very good food and service! We had to wait for our food as there was a a big group of people coming with the tour bus, but the wait was worth it: The only thing was that the dish my friend ordered was very oily, which I guess that it is the style, but I Didn’t like it that much since I felt a bit sick afterward.sliced beef and enoki mushroom in it Tea steamed duck was good, definitely go back if I’m craving for Chinese food. Just order what you usually like to order and eat, or unless your friends know what to order:

Decent food quality. Authentic Chinese north dishes. Convenience spot with lots of parking space.

Dropped in for lunch as we were already in the area but were very disappointed in the food. We both order a lunch special that included wonton soup but there was only one wonton in each bowl and broth that was not very flavorful. She ordered the beef and was warned it was spicy but that wasn't a problem as she enjoys spicy food. However when it arrived there was no spice to speak of - I tried a piece and had problem eating it and I have no tolerance for spicy food. I had sweet and sour pork that tasted mass produced. Side veggie dishes were crisp and colorful but barely warm at best and the fried rice was soggy and tasteless. The service was very friendly but that is the best I can say for our lunch experience.

Ordered takeout for rice and a chicken dish. Ordered three days ago and we were very happy with the potion sizes as it's been the same since we started going to the restaurant. However today the potion size was not the usual and it was way less than what we always get. The taste of food is excellent.

They actually do real chinese, that something you dont see enough.

Excellent northern and Sichuan style Chinese food which cant be found elsewhere in Calgary. Very laid back atmosphere. the Mapo tofu and water boiled beef were both exceptional You should defiantly skip the takeout menu and order the in-house dishes as they are the best and most authentic! the price was also reasonable for the big portion!

Very typical North East China food. Some specialties only can be found in town. Great for friends to get together. Very comfort location, hosts are very friendly. Chef Guo might come out to have some drinks with the guests. If you have group dinner, the Karaoke can be used. Great sound and good selections.

Great recommendations by the waitress... This being Northern Chinese food, I've tried several dishes I never get to eat growing up on Canto-Chinese cuisine. Try the Beijing pork and scallop in tofu wrap dish and the hotpot of sauerkraut and stewed pork. Yummy!

Not sure if they changed the chef, they used to be very good. It now the taste of them has changed getting worse. For example the "Spicy fish" is not spicy at all even though I asked to put extra spice in it. Sweet and sour pork is very tough to bite. The service is alright though.
