Han Chao, Taste of Asia

Stopped in for lunch, had pho with springrolls, very good compared to many other vietnamese restaurants across the city. Servers were attentive and present. Food came to the table after ordering in a timely manner, and cooked perfectly. Spring rolls were hot and crunchy, and the noodle soup was steaming. Dining area and Bathroom were fairly clean. Price point was competative. Will be back to try out their other asian regional cuisines!

This restaurant is a hidden gem for sure! The staff is extremely friendly, and great at what they do. Courteous, prompt, and delicious. The food had so much flavor, but it was not overpowering like other places. Portions were just right, and the menu is both modern and very easy to read/understand. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a family friendly, delicious, modern Asian cuisine experience. I also forgot to mention, it's extremely affordable, with not a single menu item going over $20 from what I could see. 6/5 if possible. Definitely worth a visit.

I don't usually leave negative reviews but here's my experience... - No water even though we asked twice. Food took way too long. Server kept disappearing we literally had to go by the kitchen to get his attention - Blue plastic materials in all 4 pho and bean sprouts. No explanations and yet he expected us to order something else. Really? We were in a rush and waiting for the food is no problem as it was our decision to dine in. We had one dish of spring rolls and 4 dishes of pho. But over the span of 40 minutes we were basically staring at pho trying to figure what the hell the plastic materials were and trying to get a hold of our server at the same time. Long story short, we left the restaurant very unsatisfied as we wasted the time and had to skip lunch. They had the audacity of charging us for the spring rolls like I would not have if I were him and didn’t even have the remorse of what we just experienced. By the way, we were the only customers, imagine what their service would be like on a busy day. We all live in the neighbourhood and will not be returning.

My husband and I can never agree on Asian food when we eat out. I love Chinese and Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese food are his favourites. As a result we rarely go out/order in Asian food, and end up getting pizza or something. Han Chao has so many different dishes originating from different Asian cultures. We did dine in during the summer and it was AMAZING. Two nights ago we ordered in, and again it was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes would make and American say “wow”. The quality is amazing. And people who can’t agree on what kind of Asian food to order can both get what they want. 5 , absolutely cannot recommend it enough I am sitting here eating my delicious leftovers as I write this

This place has been a bit of a go to for my family recently as the closest place for vermicelli bowls or Chinese food to springbank. This last visit really stood out though as the girl who answered the phone was so nice and polite and also helped me out of the restaurant while my hands were full carrying my take out and also my toddler. Food was great little one loved the grilled chicken and shrimp vermicelli bowl and service was even better!

Living in the Aspen Hills area, Hao Chao has been the go-to place for the family for years. We did dine-in, take-out, and delivery many times and tried almost everything on the menu. The ingredients are fresh. The staff are friendly. The service is quick. The place is clean. The taste is very nice and authentic, while the presentation is more Canadian. As an Asian myself, I love the combination. Give them a try. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The kindest staff and I would say without a doubt the best wor wonton soup in the city. Great value. Just love.

Nicely appointed restaurant, good service. Food is good, hard to find a place for when the family can't agree on what type of food to get so it's nice having Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes all in one place. I always get the feeling they would be better at each if specialized, but they do a very good job for what they are.

Simple Restaurant but very good taste and service good portion too. Love their Thai as well Chinese selections. That extra spicy Thai sauce is awesome. Recommended place to dine
