The number one predictor of an injury, is previous injury. MAP focuses on acutely decreasing pain and helping clients function optimally. The difference at MAP lies in the long term prevention of injuries. MAP uses Selective Functional Movement Assessments to identify poor movement patterns in the whole body. By examining whole body movement, we will change the statistics – previous injury will not dictate another!

A life-long knee injury that was greatly affecting my range of motion and gait, fuelled my search for a physiotherapist. After visiting several different clinics, I finally found the perfect fit – Christine Campbell of Move Authentically Physiotherapy. Christine’s caring, kind and personal approach resonated with me immediately. Each visit is one-on-one in the privacy of her treatment room and each session is personalized to address any issues I’m currently experiencing. Christine is extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t hesitate to help educate her clients. Thanks to Christine, I have a better understanding of the physiology with respect to my injury, how this relates to my current physical condition and how to improve and maintain my ability through exercise. Most importantly with Christine’s treatments and guidance, I have re-gained almost 100% of my knee’s range of motion and my other aches and pains have been resolved. I highly recommend Christine Campbell of Move Authentically Physiotherapy and her support staff through Kingston Integrated Healthcare. Frances Tackaberry
Christine does a wonderful job taking care of my various aches and discomforts. I have experienced other physiotherapy that is more focused on in-office exercises, and while Christine will show you a stretch or movement to do at home, the main focus of the visit is to manipulate you and get your body feeling and moving better. She is entirely professional, courteous, conscientious and approachable. If you are in the mood to chat, she can keep it lively. If you'd rather just be quiet, that is no problem. Every visit starts with a short chat about your current issues and where the work will be focused. I am entirely happy with the therapy I have received from Christine.
I am massively impressed with the incredible knowledge and skill of Christine Campbell. I have gone to many different physiotherapists over a long period of time, but none have shown the dedication to keeping up with the latest research as Christine. The program she developed for me has done wonders. Bad backs are tricky things to work with, but she has put me on such a logical path to improvement with excellent results. I would highly recommend her services for anybody who wants to understand the science behind whatever is ailing you, and to people who wish to undergo a doable program with a compassionate practitioner.
Of the many physiotherapists I have seen over the past 10 years, in more than one province, Christine is the best. She relies on her hands, not equipment to treat my issues. She takes one client at a time and doesn’t leave me sleeping under heat or other equipment while attending other clients. Not only is her gentle touch effective, but she listens and explains everything very clearly. The list of exercises that most therapists write out for you is only helpful if you remember how do all the exercises properly. With Christine this isn’t an issue since she uses an app or website where your exercise list appears as a series of videos personalized for you. Works wonderfully. All in all, I highly recommend Christine as a physiotherapist.
Christine is a very professional, knowledgeable and excellent physiotherapist. She has a very pleasant personality with whom you can talk about your issues confidently. I have had quite a few health issues and, I think that without Christine's help, I would not have been able to function and continue with all my responsibilities. I highly recommend her without reservations.
Christine is an amazing physiotherapist, and the staff at the clinic are very friendly. Her knowledge, expertise, and thorough approach to understanding your pain/joint issues combines with tailored hands-on treatment and at-home exercises to effectively address your specific issues. She has significantly reduced my hip pain, and increased my hip mobility! I highly recommend Christine to anyone with pain or mobility issues!
Christine is a fantastic physiotherapist! Unlike larger clinics where you might get 10 minutes of hands-on care from the actual clinician, Christine spends your entire appointment with you, and has tremendous manual skills. Her assessments are thorough, and she takes the time to explain what is going wrong, and what is needed to improve it. She's helped me to fully recover from various issues over the years, including TMJ pain, a nagging whiplash injury, and pregnancy-related hip/back pain. She should absolutely be your first choice for physiotherapy in Kingston.
Christine is an amazing physiotherapist and human being! I have been too many physiotherapists over the years, but none like Christine. She is very intuiative to your specific needs, and really knows her stuff. She was able to pin point pain that I had been trying to get diagnosed for years through other medical mediums. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
