Story

Since 1964 Mother Webb's has remarkably kept their reputation among Antigonish's finest restaurants for their awesome food and instant service. It has been an icon in eastern Canada for more than 50 years. Their claim of awesome food and instant service is a fact and obviously taken very serious. The same family owners are still hands-on and believe you me they are still driven to stay #1. The majority of guests are shocked by the desire of each employee to greet and serve each customer.

The biggest customer draws are:
1) The Charbroiled Steaks are prime western Canadian beef that are fully aged and charbroiled to perfection over old-fashioned black iron broilers. They are the biggest seller at approximately 40% of their business.
2) Made fresh daily English Style Fish & Chips (remember Canadians are British subjects) served 1 piece for light appetites and more for larger meals.
3) The Hot Chicken Sandwich is drawn from the recipes of the early pilgrims. The chicken is fresh cooked from tender 2-3 pound chickens. The gravy is slow-cooked for 8 to 12 hours and is one of the signature products at Mother Webb's.
4) The Club House Sandwich has fresh chicken, bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayo. For some reason people have pined to return for the Club House.
