Story

Come and taste true authentic belgian waffles, both sweet & savoury.
The Liège waffle, also known as the 'sugar waffle', has a sweet and crunchy coating with a soft and chewy inside. It is an oval shaped waffle with textures similar to a pastry. The crunchy coating comes from a special ingredient, pearl sugar, which melts and caramelizes during the baking process. The smell alone will keep you wanting more!
These waffles are served as combos such as banana, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream, or blueberry sauce & real whipped cream, or fresh strawberries, homemade chocolate sauce & real whipped cream. As well as savoury sandwiches, like local ham & cheese, steak & cheese or a veggie roasted eggplant option.
Frozen waffles also available by the ½ dozen upon request. Just pop them in the toaster and be creative! Top them with your favorite sauces, whipped cream or ice cream.

What a wicked spot to grab a bite. Ordered the green smoothie, rise and shine waffle and the local blue - right amount of sweetness. It was crazy busy, so a little bit of a wait, but I’d say it’s totally worth it

I love that you can get a discounted coffee for bringing a refillable mug and I especially love that they offer light, medium and dark roast coffee! I appreciate the patio water bowl and waffle treats for dogs!nnThe prices are low for the size and quality of the sandwiches.nnMy order was ready in under 10 minutes, so I was impressed.nnMy only disappointment was the faded sign when you first walk in that says the Wednesday special is a chicken feta bruschetta waffle, but apparently it isn't offered anymore.
Amazing! No matter how you dress them up or down these waffles are perfection! From savory to sweet. Both locations new Glasgow and antigonish are consistent in terms of food and service. We are officially hooked and return almost every time we are in town.
First off I'm a huge fan of waffles so I'm easy to win over in this category but the owners of this business make the experience as much as the food. The waffles are amazing, since our the best you'll ever eat and they have a large menu with both sweet and savoury waffles/waffle sandwiches. For first timers they have you an enthusiastic run down of the menu and the drink options. They make many of the sauses and source their ingredients as local as possible. My girlfriend has a severe peanut allergy and they were very knowledgeable and honest in regards to how they have used them in the past. They are very environmentally conscious and even have wooden, forks, spoons and knives instead of plastic. Highly recommend this place, owners are doing an amazing job and the reviews reflect it.
