Maritime Inn Antigonish

Firstly .. I was to start off on a good note because this going to be rough. The only redeeming quality of this place is the service. The people at the restaurant and the front desk were amazing and very helpful. So big shoutout to them because they made our stay.nnThe rooms are outdated and not clean. We had to ask for new sheets because there were so many stains on our first set.. the second set was also stained. The bathroom was gross to put it nicely. The shower makes a weird noise when you get in it and it is broken.nThe shower is more of a misting station of sorts and the hand held shower thing is broken.nnAnd to top it off!! Lots of dead bugs : it’s like camping but all the bugs are dead and at the head of your bed.nnWould highly suggest staying elsewhere.

Was like new , recently updated. The room was very nice, breakfast was great. We had cocktails and dessert outside the night we stayed. They had a fire wood pizza going and we had the carrot cake and White Russian’s to drink before retiring to our room.

We booked here because the reviews seemed okay. Things looked alright when we first checked in but we noticed some stains on the towels. Thought it was gross but let it go. Getting into bed for the night we pulled back the sheets to find hair on both beds. The front desk gave us new linens that we put on the beds ourselves. Upon taking the bed apart found a couple bugs!! I am appalled at the cleanliness of this place and do not understand where all these good reviews are coming from. These good reviews must all be old. How is this a 4-start hotel??

Only stopped for lunch on the patio. Nice spot to dine, right on main street. Food was very good and prices were ok, would recommend for a meal.

when i first get there asking if any rooms are available i had a nice man attempt to serve me, and the manager came flying out getting mad at the worker, first impression they are mean to their workers.. the bathrooms were full of grime and an odor that i didn’t feel comfortable showering in the morning.. come 10am to check out and im standing there for 20 minutes before anyone comes out to help me. horrible experience
