Motel Au Vieux Piloteux

I had to make arrangements at the last minute and wasn't able to stay where I usually like to stay. I was apprehensive but I was pleasantly surprised. Rhe motel was conveniently located. The room was small but it was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. There was a slight musty smell but no worse than many summer cottages. There was even something of a sunset view and a long veranda from which to view it.

Guess the best thing about this place is that it's dog friendly, although pricey. We made our reservations well in advance and were given a smallish back room in the main lodge of the hotel. One of our Queen beds slopped downwards toward the head board and was barely usable. The room was clean but dark and had a view through a small window of an apartment building. We will definitely look for other options on our next time through.

Room next doir was hsving a loyd party, in and out slamming doir, called office. They fid nothing, asked for rdfund ax service was not privided for sleep, Horrible management. Says on dugn they speak Englush, they do not!

Very convenient motel with clean pleasant rooms, working wifi, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The proprietors were wonderful even with us arriving rather late.nnIt isn't exactly riverside, but we did wake up to a nice view of the river in the early morning.

Delightful location. Easy to find. Very clean rooms. Well laid out. Helpful owner.
