Motel Cartier

Room was very clean, bed was comfy, convenient location if your travelling a long haul. Don't even need to go outside to get to st Hubert that's connected. Gas station right outside, convenient.nnI found it a little busy from the restaurant when we arrived at dinner time. And because there is a shared hallway, the outside door doesn't go right to the room, the hallway can be a little noisy when people are getting settled but otherwise it was very quiet.

Stopping here while traveling home to NS was a great choice!nClose to the highway A.20.nEveryone was so kind, the room was clean and quaint.nIt was great that there was a restaurant Rotisiere St. Hubert attached to the motel!nWe thought it was nice that we got offered english menus we would have tried to read the french ones, google translate is a great app The French Onion soup was amazing, and the half chicken dinner was also very good, free refills on coleslaw my husband had this.nI highly recommend this motel and restaurant!

The walls are *very* thin, and the room is quite dated. There are obvious upgrades to the bathroom amenities, but the rest of the furnishings have not received the same attention.nnI recommend earplugs and a sleep mask if you are planning on spending the night here.

For a 1 night stay before the ferry, this place is perfect. St Hubert's is next door, room was dated but clean and comfortable bed.

Got woken up at 8am by cleaning workers not even trying to be quiet. Banging stuff everywhere and using loud vacuums that early is beyond me, annoyed us especially since we didn’t get in until 2am. Walls are paper thin. Another thing is the windows were not sealed properly at all and all we could hear was whistling of the wind and that was the most annoying thing ever. Other than that all was good but that’s something to think about.
