Motel Au Fleuve D'Argent

These small private units are perfect. We had a cabin with no kitchen and it still had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We brought our two little dogs, and I was surprised by the total cleanliness of this cabin. The absolute perfect spot between Ontario and Nova Scotia and very reasonable! Highly recommend.

Very simple but very comfortable and clean for a place to stay with a view of the St Lawrence. It’s not fancy but had a Keurig and 2 towels each. Bed was comfortable enough. Fridge and microwave with a Keurig machine. I will stay here again.

Stayed here one night on our way to the east coast. Our room was spotless, and bed bug free. The view was beautiful, property is well maintained. Check in/out was quick/ easy. The location was great. It’s walking distance to food/grocery. And we strolled up to Rue Lafontaine where we had dinner. Would stay here again.

Terrible experience at this motel. We booked through Expedia for a room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. When we arrived, there were no traditional beds, only double sized cots on wheels that weren’t fixed to the wall. Both of my young kids fell out of the beds while sleeping because the beds literally rolled all over the place of you moved the slightest in your sleep.nnWe checked in late and left early, leaving us with no opportunity to discuss this with staff. Expedia was absolutely useless at responding, and truthfully the entire experience ruined the end of a great vacation. Be careful booking here. We were cabin 14 in case the beds are only an issue in this room.

I love this motel. We stayed there for the second time and it is still great value for the price. The room was very clean and the view from the private balcony is spectacular. We had breakfast at one of the picnic tables in the huge yard behind the motel. Definitely recommend this spot when staying in Rivière du Loup.
