Days Inn - Riviere-Du-Loup

We stayed here on our way to Gaspe as a halfway point. No complaints other than finding parking.nThe room was clean and the bed was comfy! The breakfast that is included in the price was very nice. They had cereals, scrambled eggs, cocktail sausages, french toast with syrup, bagels, cream cheese and many other condiments.nThe coffee was good and they also have pure orange and apple juice.nI would recommend this hotel/motel for sure.

My son and I flew to Toronto to rescue a dog and stayed here on the drive back to Nova Scotia. The well-appointed and very clean cottage # 308 was perfect for our one night stay. Lovely property, well-removed from the main building, with lots of green space actually it white space, given it was January to exercise the dog.nnThere’d been snow overnight and the staff were plowing and had cleared the steps and walkway at our cottage in the early morning hours, long before we had to leave. The night-shift manager was very accommodating, given our reservation had been mis-booked and even though I had called to fix it, there was no record of my call. He promptly got his manager on the phone to sort it out, so I wasn’t double-charged.nnGreat spot, not too far from the main highway, open-concept with one bedroom and a pull-out sofa-bed, fully stocked kitchenette with microwave, stove with an oven and a standard-sized fridge, along with a full bath. Heat pump kept the entire space warm & cozy on a very cold and windy winter night.nnI highly recommend Days Inn by Wyndham in Riviere-du-Loup and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity were to arise. Anyone travelling with pets for a short or long-term stay should definitely put this place on their list of places to stay in this area. Can’t imagine there’d be better accommodations nearby! Five stars!!!

2 story hotel, not modern but good. Front desk was polite and helpful. Room was a good size, window a/c hard to control but worked well enough. Washroom was clean. Breakfast was good. Close to many amenities in town. A side trip to view nearby marina is worth a photo op weather depending.

The Heater fan in my room was load even though I had it on the lowest setting besides that the room was great. The staff was friendly and helpful

Looks like in Canada, is a water crise. No water provided in the room at check in. It was very nice to have some water, after 8 hours of driving, going exhausted in the room, and even after asking they said they do not give this. Come on, is a 10 cents a bottle of water as you guys buy in bulk. Is to much to give for the price of the room? I do not think so.nOn the other hand, the room was cozy, comfy bed, basic breakfast with few options.nnThis will be my comment of the impertinent answer from my review. Is not difficult to add in rooms a 500ml bottle of water, as all the respectful hotels leave. But looks like ignorance is bigger than I thought, considering the received answer. WOW. Because of this I decrease the service rate stars.
