Motel 6 Portsmouth Nh

This was the worst stay ever. I reserved a room with a refrigerator for medication. When I got my confirmation I noticed an issue with the room type. Quickly called an I was told the room type did have a fridge. Got to the hotel and when we finally got checked in, we got to the room to discover no fridge. Went to the front desk and was told that that was an upcharged. We decided to keep the room and tried to find a way to keep the medication cold. Faucet loose with no pressure, tiolet seat extremely loose, room really wasn't clean. One ice machine down. The other was barely working, drink machine down. Hallways had a strong smell of smoke and week as well as urine and garbage. Luggage rack barely usable broken wheel. Found homeless sleeping in elevator areas and stairways. This place is more a place of a homeless and vagrants than the common traveler anymore. We had a reservation for August but we have canceled it. Will never stay here again.

Lots of issues. Easy to miss turn in with a very roundabout way to have to get back. Small, hard beds and a dirty, hairy shower with no pressure. Sink clogged with hair as well. Broken dryers that look like they've been out of order for quite a while. Two ice machines but neither would put out any ice. Staff was vacuuming at 10pm at night. Floors are thin so you will definitely hear any neighbors. If you have other options go with those.nnThe room did have two chairs at the desk which was an absolute highlight to not have to sit on a bed to eat. Getting to the hotel isn't great, but it's near lots of stuff which is nice.

I have to admit, it's one of the simplest rooms I've ever rented. We came here because the Anchorage inn refused us because we have a small dog with us and Motel 6 accepted us. But nothing enjoyable here. The front desk girl was very friendly and accommodating. The room .... well it's a room with a small bed.

Well....it was a place to sleep for the night.....n6/16/24nOur motorcycle group stayed here to start our trip and found the place to be quite below expectations. Nothing is as they would lead us to believe from their website. No pool, no bath amenities LOL, they're still trying to run on COVID time...Yeah, they sent me an email. It is true , not very inviting rooms. I know the Motel 6 are known for low budget, but this site is beyond that....

It's kind of run down. The lights for the elevator don't work the call buttons. The coffee is made 1 time a morning and they didn't even care when I told them it was cold. The staff were all listening to their headphones as they tried to help. The hallway smelled a bit.
