Moodie's Bakery

Have been to this bakery countless times over the years and must say that the quality and taste of the baked goods is not what it used to be. Bought some pineapple tarts for my Aunt and Uncle recently and they couldn't believe that they were from here: dry, tasteless and waxy. My family found the same with the what appeared to be - tasty - white and milk chocolate cakes - but turned out to be highly disappointing! Don't know what's going on but things are not moving in the right direction here. ...At least the canned pop was scrumptious. P.S. As the exceptionally talented Gaston Lenôtre says: "Certain baked goods should NEVER ever ever be frozen" [translated].

Super friendly service and the cheesecake is bliss!! Most bakery’s I have found serve one up that is sub par or seems to be held for multiple days. Every bite I took my time to savour how creamy and velvety this treat was!

Found them online and ordered a cake for a hockey team tournament. Convenient over the phone ordering as we live 3 hours away. Easy pick up and everyone couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the cake!

Sweet little shop with lovely staff and tasty treats. The upside down pineapple cake is an absolute favourite. Definitely recommend!

Absoulty the best birthday cake, filling was made with real fresh strawberries topped with a fabulous butter cream icing...hands down the best place in town. The Maryann cake is also very delicious!!
