I received Evening in Missoula loose tea for a xmas present and was taken by the sweet fragrance. I then bought a package of Evening in Missoula, Night on Glacier Bay, and Mountain Huckleberry tea bags. I love the aroma of Night on Glacier Bay especially. I do not live in Missoula and phoned in an order and the Bev was so friendly and helpful. I look forward to drinking this tea and am happy to support a small business. I have given these teas as gifts and people LOVE them. Perfect gift for anyone who enjoys tea!
The owner needs to find a new passion. Clearly she is tired and no longer willing to provide a face to her business. I hope your future is more fulfilling than providing hate to the world of healing.
Madly in love with Evening in Missoula tea. And I really do strongly dislike chamomile… there is something about this blend that is beyond soothing. One of my favorite things that was shared with me by a friend who is from Montana.
I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me give zero. I went to the store for a specific purpose. My aunt passed away recently and she always made tea from a specific blend from this store. I went to purchase the teas needed to recreate her blend and my family was met with a pretty awful experience. While I was perusing the teas, one of my children accidentally broke a lid to a teapot. Of course, we were planning on paying for the broken item, but immediately, she ran over to where my husband and child were and instead of accepting my child’s very teary “I’m sorry”, she ignored him and said “yep, that’s going to cost you $20”. My husband took my children out of the store while I finished looking and when I went to pay for the tea I had chosen and the tea pot, the woman whom I can only assume is the owner, proceeded to talk badly about my child and how she “bets he’ll never do it again”, and if it were at a place like target he wouldn’t have to pay, blah blah blah. Then when I asked her about a specific ingredient listed on the tea bag, she looked at me and said “it’s chemicals… we only have a small section of teas that don’t have fake ingredients and chemicals in them. It’s too expensive to use real ingredients.” That and how she treated my family upon the ACCIDENT, I put the tea back and paid for the broken teapot and left without a single kind word from the woman. I will never step foot in this store again, and will spend my money elsewhere that shows compassion to CHILDREN, and that doesn’t sell tea filled with cancer causing chemicals. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to purchase actual tea.
Very rude customer service. She specifically said she doesn't care about anybody and all she wants is their money when she got off the phone with a customer.
Could've sworn I slapped the ladies grandma in the face by the way she treated us. Blatantly explained the tea is chemically flavored because it's cheaper that way and had the absolute worst attitude I've ever seen. I am always polite and even tried to make a light joke to lighten the mood in which the lady said "I don't care. Do you have the money to pay?" which of course I did. Would rather pay 5x the price for actual tea and to not give this lady any business. THERE ARE BETTER SHOPS WITH BETTER PRODUCT. DO. NOT. GO.
Evening in Missoula has such a surprisingly beautiful and calming taste unlike any other tea I’ve ever had. I’m in SoCal and had been visiting my mom in Montana and found this gem as a gift to bring back to my daughter. I’m now reordering for both of us down here in SoCal to bring a bit of Missoula home, again.
I order all my tea from Montana Tea and Spice Trading every few months. A great selection though my favorite is Montana Gold. I always order something else as well to try it out. Always a pleasant experience. I live in Philadelphia, PA but my brother introduced me to this shop. Peter
First time shopper here. Due to the corona the inside is still closed to customers as of writing but the door service is great! The kind proprietor lady helped me out with a tea catalog and showed me through to the blends index. Then mixed me the exact tea I was looking for in short order. A whole pound of delicious starfire licorice I can't wait to get home and try out! Best tea shop in Missoula
The fragrance when you walk in is amazing. The folks that work there are so sweet and have lots of great info about the teas and spices. Cute tea pots, cups, and other gear
