One of my favorite spots to have a beer and some good food. Emphasis on the beer as they have a huge selection. Most of the time we come for drinks and end up having food, which is really good. You can do appetizers or a full-on dinner and all options have been great. The cauliflower is a must! Highly recommend. They also have another location by Dornblazer field.
Cambie used to have great, fun food. The last couple of times we've been I have been very disappointed. A $16 chicken sandwich had two very Small pieces Of chicken and No sauce that makes it spicy. A crumbly dried out bun and Undercooked fries and topped off the extremely disappointing plate. Two stars because the waitress was prompt and kind although didn't ask how the food was. Will definitely stop buying food here.
Great staff... But don't order any of the burritos! Not worth the risk. A huge load of white rice rolled up in a tortilla shell, with hardly any other ingredients. The burrito itself, along with the pulled pork had no seasoning or flavoring in or on it. One of the strangest burritos. Could very well be dubbed the "Blandest Burrito of Missoula".
Hard to decide if the service or food was worse. We sat outside and although every other table this who were sat before and after us was getting service, we had to order at the bar. Our appetizer arrived with the meal, and cold. Nasty queso the other location has good queso and stale, out of the bag chips. We ordered sandwiches and two sides of mac and cheese. We only received one side, which was fine bc it was inedible. Dry noodles with a watery sauce? I’m actually offended this would be called mac and cheese. Don’t worry, we were charged for both sides! Just a terrible experience all around. Paying the tab was also a ridiculously long and difficult endeavour. Seems like this place is full of apathetic employees the menu is not well executed.
What is it? Coffee shop? Taphouse? Bar? Restaurant? Cafe? Pick a lane! I wanted to like this place but my latest visit finalizes the verdict been to the S. Higgins location twice and the Sawmill location once. They have bartenders, who are also servers, so it doesn't feel like a coffee shop. They have coffee/morning drinks, so it doesn't feel like a bar. They have a full food menu, so it doesn't feel like a taphouse. Why am I being waited on in a coffee shop? Why can't I order at the bar and sit without being interrupted if it's a taphouse? I don't get it. During my latest visit, I decided to try a kombucha cutting back on beer/gluten, early in the day. They had two options on the tv menu with no price listed for either, which I didn't think twice about. The kombucha was fine, but when I close my tab, I learn that this tulip glass of 'booch was $7! No wonder the price wasn't listed on the tv menu. Don't know how or why this coffee shop/taphouse/bar/restaurant/cafe has two locations in Missoula. One is more than enough. Giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because they have a decent HH.
I’m super impressed by the menu here, everything I’ve ordered is phenomenal - my favorite is absolutely the spinach artichoke dip. Very fond of the iced coffee also! The comfortable and bright space is the cherry on top.
Good food, great beer, and wonderful service! Overall our experience was really good BUT I wish the lighting wasn’t so bright. My boyfriend and I sat in the front on the couch by the fire which was lovely but I wish we had a little more mood lighting and a little less Walmart fluorescent vibes.
60 taps! So many choices. Really good food at reasonable prices.
Amazing food in a beautiful environment! Always cool people to chat with and always very clean. Highly recommend!
Cambie dip was very good. Nice selection of beer.
