10/10 my first time going to a Salad Bar Typically salad I would consider Rabbit food This would be upscale Rabbit food so much flavor. 12 oz Bone Broth to wash it down 10/10 Drink was really healthy If it was something I made I would have maybe added a little bit of Agave but that's just my preference Salad was a chicken Caprese +Bacon
Super delicious Salads! I got the chicken caprese and my friend got the Brussel Ceasar salad. The dressing, toppings, and everything was so good. The half order is a perfect portion for one person! I have to say, it is a bit expensive but it's a fun treat for lunch!Food: 5/5
If you need, or merely just want a superb salad eat here! They have wonderful salads or you can pick you own. Also, a very good looking smoothie menu and they even provide a tea menu. Splendid.
Excellent salad and green smoothie, I am from out of town so it was very hard to find something healthy. This is the place!
Ludicrously expensive for the area, but it is very wholesome and quality food. They have just simple and good broth, and that really does hit the spot in autumn. The rest of the menu items, including salad, soup, and smoothies were all good. If I had to compare, Biga has comparably just as awesome salads and depending on the special, better, GFS can provide a comparable but inconsistent alternative for the smoothie, but I can't say the quality of soup is being matched locally on a consistent level. So I would come for the soup and atmosphere absolutely.
Luxurious salads and bone broth. Incredibly delicious, well-curated food, and excellent for vegans, too. Zany, tasty sodas. Really friendly, thoughtful staff. Would love to come again.
We ordered takeout during pandemic conditions. The salads weren't bad...they were just disappointing. The ingredients were excellent quality, but it seemed like they were just sort of dumped in a box and put in a paint-shaker. So glad I didn't order an extra $0.75 piece of bread...the ones we got were miniscule as in fit-inside-a-toilet-paper-tube-small and really unsatisfying. I had a salad with smoked salmon, and the handling of this delicate ingredient was savage at best! For a $20 salad, I guess I expect some finesse and respect.
Basal has a great menu to choose from! We love the build your own salad option for our picky kids. They also have a great sustainability program and use all compostable to go containers and utensils. It a great stop for healthy eating downtown!
When I say I want a salad, THIS is what I mean. Everything on the menu is interesting and extremely satisfying. The salads are quick with fresh ingredients and I always look forward to my little slice of bread and the assortment of healthy teas and other beverages.
I stop in for lunch or dinner whenever I’m in town. Guaranteed to have a healthy option for everyone. Brussels Caesar salad is one of the best salads I’ve ever had. I could drink the vegan Caesar dressing. They have these delicious GF berry oat bars that are to die for! Made in-house too. Can y’all please start stocking Olipop or Zevia in the fridge?
