Brass Taps

The best burgers on campus. Beers are also great and there are some offers during the week you can take advantage of. My only complain is that sometimes the product’s quality changes. The staff is super friendly and nice.

Brass Taps is every student's dream. I really enjoy the bottomless coffee as a busy student, and the food here is amazing as well. I have yet to come for the famous trivia nights, but I'm assuming its amazing as well because it's always fully booked days in advance! The drink menu is top notch, something for everyone, and the ambiance allows for good socialization or study time.

Not one to usually write reviews but the experience here was below par. Took awhile for our server to come ask us what we'd like for drinks, when she did she missed someone at the table's drink order, claimed they had something they didn't then proceeded to give us attitude when we were clarifying if that's what they had on tap because the menu said otherwise, she was indeed wrong about what they had on tap. When we finally got our drinks half the table was missing our drinks so we had to flag her down to say hey half the table doesn't have a drink, someone from the table still didn't get their drink and had to walk up to the bar to get it. Never got refills on our water all we needed was another jug of water. When the food came, again half the table was missing food, my order came without the waffle fries just no fries at all, only chicken strips..., the food was mediocre at best, when I said hey i'm missing my waffle fries I just got regular fries. Servers and bussers also took away food and drinks before we were finished with them... It was a busy night but there was absolutely no shortage of staff and they had 3 bartenders on. I don't see why the service was lacking so badly, and took over 15 minutes to get our drinks. It almost seems like none of the staff was trained before they started.

If u have an allergy, don’t go here. Came here with my friends and clearly stated I had an allergy to sesame and legumes. I ordered the fish tacos and the coleslaw it came with has sesame seeds all over it along with sesame oil and it did not state this on the menu, along with saying I had an allergy.The waitress said the kitchen staff “missed it” , even though I am anaphylactic and have to carry epi pens with me wherever I go. The manager also didn’t even apologize and was extremely careless, they offered me 50 percent off but I declined the meal because I wasn’t risking their improper allergen procedures.

Sam was an extremely helpful manager, and made our night much better! I had such a great time at the brads taps!

Perfect location. Very cosy place. Good service good food and good music! The food was serving slow tho. Recommend summer breeze and royal city. Spent time with friends there, definitely will go again

The food here was awesome! It was also super nice on the inside-we loved the decor and vibe of the place. However, the service was awful. We waited a really long time to place food and drink orders, and getting our food took so long that we had to send it back to get reheated, which that itself took about ten minutes. The restaurant was fairly busy but they had a ton of staff so I'm not sure why it took so long. Overall, for the price we paid, I honestly wouldn't come back here unless I was going out with a big group of people and had tons of time to wait for my drinks/food. Like I said though, the food is delicious!

Had a huge burger with forty creek bbq sauce and cheese, great prices as well I highly recommend

Pretty bad experience. Was excited to give this place a chance, but was left very disappointed with the service. After getting seated, our table waited 30 minutes before getting asked for our drink order, and so we ordered the food with it to speed up the wait. We waited and waited and the food finally arrived, but no drinks. The food was also overcooked. We mentioned our drinks and the server finally brought them all except one, which wasn’t available. She asked what I would like as a replacement, and I asked for something else. 30 minutes later, and still no drink for me. Was finally later given replacement food for the overcooked stuff, and my drink. Would not recommend, and won’t be going back.

Google keeps demanding I review this place, so I'm finally capitulating to our computer overlords. I love this place. It's cozy, the food is great, and the service is pretty fast and usually very friendly! I'd recommend it to anyone on campus for a quick bite, or if you're like me, a good time to sit down and pound out some work while they give you bottomless coffee and pick away at things on the menu for several hours. Also, just order the honey bee pizza. Trust me, you will not regret it.
