Sunset Grill

Delicious food, great staff, would definitely come back. My daughters had the chocolate chip pancakes and they couldn't finish it all, yummy leftovers. Be prepared to practice your patience on a Sunday morning, as it gets pretty busy.

Firstly their staff are absolutely wonderful. Servers, greeters and cashier's were gracious, thoughtful and informed on their menu options and combinations. The food was amazing and service time was quick. No complaints. Will visit again.

Wow! 10/10 experience at Sunset Grill in Guelph today. Went with my family for breakfast. Restaurant was full and lively, service was quick, the girls working were both very friendly and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. A great family friendly environment. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Overall we’ve previously enjoyed this restaurant and have been many times. The staff is friendly and the food is good. However we’ve noticed recently the cleaning has gone downhill…. Huge! The tables and floors are sticky and the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The wait staff seem to not care anymore and will also bring you your cheque before even asking if there is anything else you want or before you are even done your meal. After seeing the washrooms before leaving it made me cringe thinking about the sanitary cooking conditions that may lie hidden in the back. I don’t think we will return unless there is a huge change in cleaning regimes there.

Been to eat here a few times and everything has been great. However if you post that your open at 7am, then one would expect to arrive at 7am to open doors. It is 11/14/2022 and was not the case. 9:08am and still doors are locked and lights out with no notice on the door. How does one place stay in business like this? While waiting ive seen tons of people come and go disappointed. Totally unacceptable.

Burnt food. Zero service after being served. I had to walk to the counter just to refill my water. I watched the chef grab foods with his bare hands and put it on plates, absolutely DISGUSTING!! Staff look miserable too. Glad I'm not from around here because I wouldn't come back anyway.Food: 1/5

Great place for breakfast but service can be slow during busy times. The small things are overlooked, like coffee refills. They do have vegetarian options. Lots of parking.Food: 4/5

Megan our waitress is always amazing ! We love going to this location just to see her ! Food is good as always but seems very short staffed , no bus person or coffee person anymore .Food: 5/5

Our first, and only time at this location was positive. Staff were quite friendly. We would definitely visit again.

My wife and I have enjoyed breakfast at a few Sunset Grille locations, but this one offered that little bit extra. What more could one expect from a simple chain restaurant like this? Light. With Windows on two walls, this corner building location made our stay feel brighter with lots of natural light! Our server, Mike, was very friendly and attentive - even though he forgot his 'uniform' shirt on our visit ;- My recommendation; Go, relax and eat. Bacon & eggs, preferably :-
