Montana's BBQ & Bar

During our visit on a Saturday night, a group of us (4 adults) arrived and were told the wait was over an hour and a half. While we were contemplating on sticking around, a server mentioned we could have a seat at the high-top tables near the bar and another server would be right with us. We didn't want to go anywhere else, so we grabbed a table near the bar. Our server attended to us in a timely fashion, considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was amazing, as usual, and depending on what you order - very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity you get. One of our favourite go-to restaurants when going out for dinner with friends!

Food was okay, but never would have gone had they "all you can eat ribs" special from the website. I looked at the website to confirm that they were still promoting it and it only said for a limited time. I guess I was wrong to assume that they'd remove it from the site when it was discontinued. Any way, my daughter's birthday dinner wasn't what I promised, but she survived.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. The service we received was friendly and we didn't feel rushed.

I don't get to eat out much so I was really looking forward to a nice lunch with my husband this afternoon. I wanted to order chicken wings but I had a very hard time finding them then when I did they were under starters...apparently 8 little wings feeds 2 people. So instead out of the 3 menus that were basically thrown on the table i found fish and chips...pretty easy. So i get my coffee 1st...coffee grinds and tasted burnt. Then not even 5 minutes the meals were there. My husband's looked much better. I went to eat my fish and it wasn't cooked .i had cut a couple of piesces off tried the 1st and it was full of uncooked batter. The other side was overdone. So I send it back. Waitress just took the piece of fish???? Aftet I had eaten a piece and used my fork to look underneath. She brings it back to me....I was stunned!!! She brought the same piece of fish back to me. I guess they somehow stuck it back in deep fryer with the gaping hole in it and served it back to me. By this time....I basically had the few fries eaten...the majority were ends of potatoes and not tasting like fries. But honestly....how unsanitary is that??? They stuck a piece of food that had already been touched thoroughly by a customer back into the grease that they cook everyones food in. I couldn't believe it. So when said waitress brought it back to me i handed her my coleslaw and tartar sauce and said forget it. I'll just have the fries ...the manager came over. She apologized and agreed that was a wrong approach. I should've got a brand new meal. So I do not recommend this place. It's gone down a lot. Its not very clean. The tables still had salt under there big sheets of paper so table not wiped properly. In the end obviously I wasn't paying for something i didn't receive but they charged me 2.50 for my coffee and all my husband's food. So for one lunch today which i didn't really eat we still ended up paying $23.00 I couldn't believe they charged me for the coffee eith the coffee grinds...what a joke. Very poor quality and restitution for all the inconvenience should've been 100% free for wrecking our lunch. I'm one pissed off never returning customer.

Great service from Kelsey. Steak was a non starter...ordered medium rare got medium well done. Baked potato was the hit of the plate. Next time will stick with their pub fare. They should too!
