Worse Customer Service Ever. While they have a great variety and size of dresses, their Customer service is poor. I didn't know the mall closes at 8pm do I went into Moniques at 7:30pm to shop for a prom dress for my daughter and a dress for myself to attend a wedding. No one helped us I had to ask a young girl working there for help and even then she didn't pull the dress for sale as there was two other customers that kept asking questions and holding up the change rooms. When we eventually could get a change room the blonde lady had the nerve to say we're closing and was kicking us out the store bitbthe other two coulpes in there she wasnt saying anything to them. Now if the girl that was originally helping us say "hey we're closing shortly and I don't think you will have enough time to try on dresses maybe you could come back another day" I would have totally been fine with that. But the blonde lady was rude and condescending. I went in there and didn't even ask the price I was ready to spend my money on whatever dress my daughter wanted. Admittedly they are overpriced but with the selection they have I was ok with paying a bit more for a dress but now I will take my daughter and my money elsewhere. Very poor customer service.
This place has pretty dresses , but they are not worth the price you will pay . Quality of the dresses are no good .
The male associate there was disrespectful. He was talking to the other female associate in their own language to make the prices of their dress more than what it’s featured for. Totally not respectful and inconsiderate and unfair for different customers of different races. I would not recommend doing service here.
I bought a few dresses from this store over the years. The service is phenomenal. The dresses are different and they're very accommodating to getting the dress altered to fit you. The prices are even better wish I can give them more than five stars.
My family and I were looking for some dresses to wear to a wedding. We walked all around the mall and found nothing.. My daughter then noticed Moniques right in the corner beside Best Buy so I thought I'd give them a try since I was totally about to give up and go home. I was more than happy with their dress selection and best of all they had all different sizes for the whole family. The customer service is even better.. I didn't catch the lady's name but she helped us for at least 1 hr with so much patience and helpful suggestions. We ended up buying 3 dresses in total and we could not be more than happy with the price and quality. I will definitely be paying them another visit again! Thank you guys!!
This place doesn't deserve even half a star. Most of the dresses seem used. Most of their dresses have stains in them. If you buy a dress from them, make sure to scrutinize it with a magnifying glass. They stamp “final sale” on the receipt so that you can’t return it even if there was already something wrong with the dress. I bought a $300 dress from that place that had two holes and makeup stains on the inside. The zipper was also torn from the dress and nonfunctional. I only found out after I had bought the dress. I was also not sold the same dress that I had tried on; the employees like to sell the first dress on the rack!! Seriously?! This is also the same dress that every woman tries on. Buyer beware!!! I cannot stress enough how important it is to be cautious and attentive when purchasing dresses from this place.
This place is amazing, I've been going here since 2009 and the dress selection has always been lovely, the prices are exactly what you expect, and the service is pretty good
If I could give this place a negative star out of five, I would. I have dealt with this boutique's awful, unprofessional, and rude service every time I have stepped into its shop. The first time I dealt with them was for my Debut/18th Birthday. The lady who was helping me was "nice" up until we paid. We asked for an extra plastic bag, as we had bought a ballgown and its weight was bound to rip the plastic. Her response was something along the lines of, "We cannot do that, one bag per dress" and rolled her eyes. We've dealt with MANY boutiques in the past who have been more than happy to provide us with an extra plastic bag because they understand that CUSTOMER SERVICE is ensuring your customer walks out of your shop happily, especially after they just spent money on an expensive dress. In addition, the dress had missing beads in it and slight stains at the bottom, which they refused to give us a discount for. Unfortunately, we had checked other boutiques and that dress was the best option I had at the time. I really wished I did not purchase my gown here, and if I could go back in time, I would have walked out right then and there. The second time I dealt with this boutique was when I was shopping for my pageant gown. A lot of the girls I do pageants with recommended this place because of the range in styles, but I was warned that the sales people are rude. Needless to say, the exact same thing happened. Today is the last time I will ever give this boutique a chance. I walked in with both of my parents to find a gown for when I pass on my crown at an upcoming pageant. The store was almost empty; it was us, a couple, and a girl in the changing room. Not only were we not welcomed unlike how every other boutique welcomes its customers, but when we asked for help, the blonde woman and the black haired woman pretty sure was the owner of the store made eye contact and ignored us. Instead, they walked up to the couple who were not too far from us and asked if they needed help, despite them not asking for it. As someone who has worked in both Retail and Customer Service, I can assure you that it is not that hard to smile and ask if someone needs help. The people in this shop are incredibly rude, entitled, and beyond unprofessional. I have gotten better service from teenagers at McDonalds. My family and I decided to go downstairs to Chic Couture which is where we should have gone first, and as usual they were polar opposites from Monique's. Not only did we receive a warm welcome, friendly and patient sales advisors, but we were able to walk out with my dream dress, along with an extra dress bag that they were happy to provide without a second thought. If you are looking for a nice dress, I strongly advise you take your time and money elsewhere. Yes, this shop has range, but after becoming familiar with so many other boutiques, this should be the LAST place you go to. There are so many other places with better staff and dresses that aren't missing beads or have stains on them.
Very very rude staff. My daughter and her friend were there trying on grad dresses and the lady helping them was extremely rude and condescending. She told them they could only try on two dresses then told them to leave and come back with their parents. 17 and 18 year olds should be their target market especially at this time of year. Very disgusted to hear of their shopping experience at this store.
