In my 40 years living in Ajax I've never came across a fusion between west indies and Greek. The roti is filled with flavour and meat is plentiful plus tender. The pita selections is also delicious. You get exactly what you pay for and that is why I appreciate this establishment and the kind hard working staff. 10 stars. Love
I just found my new favourite Caribbean joint in Ajax. I ordered here through Uber eats; the goat roti and jerk chicken. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant is pretty easy to find, plenty of parking and actually looks like its connected to a Greek restaurant that i assume they run also I'm going to try the Greek restaurant next. The goat roti was flavourful and spicy and the jerk chicken is some of the best I've ever had. Very tender and fall off the bone. The only thing I can nit pick on is that the portion sizes were just a tad on the smaller side. Regardless, I will definitely be back here again.
Boneless chicken roti with mango. Full of flavour and tender juicy chicken. The mango is a nice touch and complimented the meat very nicely. I’m so happy I do not need to travel to Scarborough location for the best roti! This will be our weekly go to place for sure! Ajax finally has some amazing Roti in town!
Delicious, but ‘pepper sauce’ does not mean ‘cover all my food completely in sauce’. You ruined your own lovely food? It’s so strange? It tasted so great without it lol. I can’t imagine what would have happened if I chose a lot of or extra pepper sauce.
Welcome to Ajax! Got a 16oz boneless curry chicken and it was great. Unique concept of a shared kitchen, contactless payment only and delivers to your car. Can't wait to try other menu items. If you aren't familiar with the original location on Scarborough, just Google it and read about the amazing Mona and her history. Only drawback is that Doubles didn't make it into the menu ... yet
There are three sides to this resturant one side making delicious Greek food, another side making below average Trinidadian food and lastly a fusion section of Caribbean food and Greek. Starting with the best side, Greek, I had the chicken souvlaki wrap. Lovely full pieces of chicken running down the whole wrap, well sourced tomatoes and onions. The taziki sauce is not chunky and tastes well. Also you get some really crispy and delicious french fries, overall the one I had was 10/10. Next good thing was the jerk chicken in a paratha wrap, a well filled wrap with good tasting jerk chicken in it, I am giving that 8.5/10. Now for the Trinidadian side of things, just not worth it, the sort of food if you know how it supposed to taste you would not buy the food again. Portion size and quantity no issue there. I had a boneless curry chicken, first major flaw the curry taste green, meaning two things the curry was not fried properly before adding the chicken and also for the potato or someone add uncooked curry to the food after some cooking, the result is a horrible taste and a tummy ache. Then the curry chicken pieces are over cooked, the chicken shreds like pulled chicken. Next flaw is the dhalpuri filling has too much gerra, less is better, I also find the skin could be a little thicker. Last thing is the pepper sauce, too much tang / sourness and heat. Maybe try a different blend of peppers and a carrot or two in the mixture to temper the heat won’t hurt. Chicken roti I will give 3.5/10. That’s my take, definitely impressed by the Greek and Fusion menu keep up the good work there.
Always great food here! I was happy they opened Here in the east because I use to go to the Scarborough right by my work regularly!
Seen this place and never ventured in, tonight i entered and was not disappointed amazing Roti if you have not tried them before you wont be disappointed
they should not have been able to use that name i’ve been a customer Scarboro for 20yrs never disappointed i gave ajax a few tries every time Garbage Don’t Waste Your Time it’s not even about money the Quality isn’t there
