Lena’s Roti And Doubles

I was driving by one day and decided to try this place and I really enjoyed their food. The other day I called to order but they were closing, however she still took my order and waited for me. My 16 month old enjoyed tasting the doubles.

I don't leave reviews often but this is the first time I've tried doubles and this place has me hooked. I want to come back and try every type. I also ordered the Tuesday special stuffed chicken curry paratha which was also very good but the doubles are amazing. The price for everything was under $10 and in this day and age that's amazing honestly. I'm a big guy and it filled me up. My only critique is the hot sauce was too spicy for my taste so start with mild and work up from there West Indian spice is no joke. Will be back to try more and bring some home to the family. Highly recommended.

First time going to this spot the service was good, food amazingonly problem first and second bite I took I got thyme in my mouth and had to stop chewing to pull it out not good.... Beside that great roti!!!Food: 3/5

I drive an hour and some, even if it's to buy doubles. These people are the best in the city. Please ifcyour goimg to go up there to shop, pick me up, we can share a lamb rottie, I'll eat it and you can wipe my mouth. It's that good.Food: 5/5

Best roti and doubles in Durham region. Reasonable prices, delicious food, huge portions and lovely customer service. The staff are super-friendly. Would recommend them to anyone undoubtedly. MUST TRY - Doubles, jerk chicken. Special offers on certain days.

Came here because I was starving. Ordered a cholay potato wrap medium spicy. Honestly it was just okay. The food was room temperature not actually hot and it was ready in few min after the order. So I’m sure it was just sitting there waiting to be assembled. Customer service was good. Cashier was nice and friendly. Place was clean.

I used to go to The Roti spot in Pickering, when it closed I went on a search for good roti’s in Durham and boy am I glad I stumbled on this hidden gem. Their chicken roti is massive, loaded with chicken and potatoes, absolutely fresh and superb taste, worth every penny and the best in Durham and arguably Toronto. Their shrimp doubles are amazing too.

This restaurant has been consistently good in delivering quality food since the time I’ve been going over 5 years. With my recent visit I was surprised to note that they offer Cheesecake Factory cheesecake options. A very niche addition to an already excellent menu. This is my one and only go to roti shop stop in Durham. Nowhere else. Thank you Lena’s for always providing excellent customer service and quality food.

Never closed due to break down due to equipment failure. This a top notch state of the art facility which never disappoint. Every bay works perfectly and clean and bright, no gettho here. Drive thru wash truly perfect and light years ahead of the competition . Ontarians deserves more outfits like this. Bang for the buck high class performances. Well kept and always a pleasure to get my vehicle done. Thank you

Excellent food and out of this world service at the Ajax location. We usually get daalpuri and today I asked at the counter what exactly is phullorie, the gentleman who was cashing us out offered a free sample and it was scrumptious!!! Not going anywhere else for West Indian food!!! If you haven’t yet visited the Ajax location please do!!!
