Momono Tea Shop serves a variety of unique Bubble Tea flavors ranging from simple slush drinks to more sophisticated drinks such as Milk tea topped with Creme Brulee. I ordered Creme Brulee Milk Tea, Sweater of Winter and Grape Jasmine Tea. Creme Brulee: I was bringing these drinks home for my family so I didn't try this Creme Brulee drink until I got home. One thing I'll say for this drink is that I was impressed with how solid the big chunk of Creme Brulee sitting on top of the drink was. For reasons beyond my control, I didn't make it home for another 3 hours. By the time I got home, I was afraid the Creme Brulee might have completely dissolved into the drink. To my surprise, the Creme Brulee was still in tact! Sweater of Winter: This drink had a big swirl of whipping cream on top with lots of crunchy little chocolate balls dispersed throughout the whipping cream. It came with a lid that had a sliding window on it. The little kid inside me fell in love with this lid. The mini chocolate balls were fun to crunch on as well! Grape Jasmine Tea: Grape flavoured Jasmine Tea with a couple slices of lime, white pearls and some kind of white jelly at the bottom. The Grape flavor was delicious and I enjoyed the texture of the white pearls and jelly. My daughter wants me to bring her to Momono Tea Shop so she can try the drinks right away next time. I enjoyed the drinks from Momono Tea Shop so I will be very happy to grant her request! Thank you Eric and Momono Tea Shop for a unique experience that had "fun" and "yum" all rolled into one! Service: Good Parking: Paid parking on Granville St.; free parking off Granville St. but make sure to heed the time restrictions on the parking signs. Location: 3010 Granville St., between 14th and 15th Ave.
A small locally owned shop, delicious drinks, and recently started selling these small cakes, which are also phenomenal. Been back here many times now. They’ve been introducing new drinks depending on the season and availability of ingredients. Every single one has always been a 10/10. For me though Momono, their signature drink is the must try. Wait times could be longer for orders depending on the day and time, as it’s currently only run by the couple/owners themselves. But they are starting to hire extra staff given the growth and popularity!
I was blown away by the artistry of my drink! I got the purple yam soy milk. The owner carefully decorates the inside of the cup with purple yam paste, it was mesmerizing to watch. Drink was yummy too!
The momono slush was amazing! Chose less sugar on both drinks but they were just enough for us. Would love to try their other drinks too! Haven't had anything quite like these drinks here in Vancouver. Would recommend! Their shop is also nicely decorated too!
We ordered the signature peach and yogurt and the one with taro/ mochi, they were both absolutely a blast! Loved them so much, would hope to return grab some more
Washroom and back area wasn't opened when I was there. Drinks were amazing though. You can taste the tea without it being bitter or too sweet. Most other shops have so much sugar and flavoring that you can't taste the base tea. This is different.Food: 5/5
Bubble tea is very overpriced here and it is only average tasting. Very slushy and watery. The only thing that tasted good was the cat paw pudding but that was $2 which is expensive!
Beautiful store with lots of unique drink flavors and toppings! Taro meets mochi is my favorite - the mochi topping is so good and smooth. Perfect texture! I think only momono and ikoi cha offers this topping.
I feel so bad for the 2 staff as they were clearly very understaffed. Everyone was waiting 20+ minutes to get their drink and the store was receiving online orders nonstop. I hope the owner sees this comment and hire more people as the products are really worth it.Food: 5/5
Came here for a quick dessert stop. If you are drinking it there they will ask you for your vaccine passport. I ordered the Taro Mochi Drink and had it hot. There is a tad bit of taro flavour wish there was more. The mochi can be found throughout the drink. I really liked the salted cream foam on the top and it brought out the flavour of the taro a little more. Would want to come back and try their other drinks. The interior is really cute and the workers are very accommodating
