There's a menu on the window which is incredibly helpful for planning ahead. The place is obviously popular and we had to wait for a few customers ordering ahead. They offer a great selection of bubble teas and milk with oat milk being the option. They also have a few chairs inside with about 3 small tables to sit and work on laptops. It's a small place but quite charming. We love what we got.

I wouldn't say it struck me all that special. The milk tea that I had was alright, a bit smaller than I expected for what I could get at Coco. The taste was fine- better than Chattime but Coco was still ranked number 1 in my opinion. It's definitely not a bad place to come back again, and it's quiet and clean- good for chatting.

A true rating of 3.5. It was ok to me - didn't stand out as unique although I do appreciate the usage of organic milk. The pricing therefore seemed ok for what was offered and quality ranging from $4ish to $7ish dependent on drink. They do offer some unique drinks I've never seen at other bbt spots. The service was mediocre the day I went - seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst staff along with a lot of new trainees, which caused for a longer than expected wait. My purple rice smoothie and organic milk was ok - it was more towards room temperature opposed to cold refreshing.

I ordered the Thai milk tea with oat milk. I really liked the pearls here. They were chewy, not soft. The drink was so refreshing and delicious!

My new favourite bubble tea shop. I will happily drive down from Burnaby to this new place - definitely worth the hassle! Go here if you want delicious, authentic bubble tea. The bubbles have amazing consistency and texture, they're so fresh! They also let you adjust the sugar and ice levels for some of the drinks which is great. Everything we got from here was awesome. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. I highly recommend the brown sugar with pearls.

I ordered a large Thai milk tea and my friend got a medium brown sugar milk tea. Really good but also really sweet, I got 30% sugar and that was enough for me. The tapioca was definitely the best part.

Small Bbt shop in Kits on Broadway/Mcdonald. It’s name translates to ‘small black sugar.’ They have brown sugar, milk tea and tea-based drinks and special drinks like purple rice smoothie, matcha latte, taro with milk and a few others. They brew their tea fresh and don’t use powder to make their drinks. Got the Thai tea with milk. This is a sweeter drink than usual bbt it has a recommended 0% sugar level, but I chose 50%. Pearls were tasty - soft and chewy. The milder purple rice drink is also good. Looks like they are usually open everyday but close early at 8pm unfortunately.

A year ago I gave this place a mediocre review, but they have since then been using high quality ingredients to make their tea so I decided to upgrade my rating. There are so many bubble tea cafes now, but Baroness stands out among the competition with their super chewy pearls and unique drinks. I love their Purple Yam bubble tea with Oat Milk, full of flavour, also their Uji matcha latte is wonderful too. It was a cold day today so I decided to order the Ginger Lemon Black Bubble Tea. When the owner told me that the ginger is fresh pressed, I couldn't believe it. Most places now use preserved ginger syrup. The drink was delicious - a great combo of sweetness, spiciness, and acidity. Would love to come back for sure.
