I have been wanting to check this place out for awhile now as it is on my foodie to go list. Finally checked it off by dropping by and ordering steamed and fried lamb momos/dumplings. Highly recommend it. The mango lassi is delicious as well, so as the Mango Pistachio Cheese cake!
We got the chicken momos and the fried rice, both dishes were delicious. It’s almost like a crossover of Hakka, Tibetan and Indian cuisine! The mango drink was also delicious. Only losing a star because the food took 20 minutes to be prepared. Kind of tough standing around when the store is so small and already overcrowded! However, staff was very nice and tried really hard to fulfill orders even when the UberEats request kept coming in. It’s great that this place opens up to 4am. Perfect for hangovers or when you crave a late night snack.
The food is stupid good but the wait it long I got the steamed chicken Momo's and I was not expecting that much flavor from the filling. The spices are excellent and I felt like I tasted something new. You get a chilli and mayo sauce on the side as well as a lightly dressed salad The sauces go well with the Momo's and I thoroughly enjoyed both. The shrimp dumplings and chicken dumplings were really good. Made very fresh on order. Solid late night food. The chili garlic shrimp spice level is definitely present but nothing crazy.
Got steamed chicken and shrimp momos. The shrimp was our favourite of the two. Also ordered chicken noodles. Felt like it needed to be tossed in a sauce to add more flavour not sure if I was supposed to order it that way and the chicken was over-cooked for my liking. Overall though, the food was okay. Important note: parking in this area is terrible. I got a ticket just for being dropped off at the store front not even standing
The dumplings here are decent if not that great! The filling is good.They provide salad as a side with the dips too! We have also eaten noodles and spring rolls here till now which are delicious too. We regularly visit this place and have few other dish on our checklist to try here. Dont go here for fancy dining experience. Its a no frill no nonsense great eating place. Vegetarian options: They have good vegetarian options!
Visited this cozy spot with a coworker to try their momos. We ordered Fried Chicken & Manchurian Stir-fry Paneer momos. The fillings were fresh, nicely spiced and well cooked — one of the best I’ve tried in downtown so far. And, extra brownie points for a thin dough & a very very welcoming staff. The complimentary dips were decent, not as spicy as I’d have liked but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, we loved the spot! Must try if you’re around.
We ordered momos , fries and fried rice. In my opinion they tasted just okay ,since i eat a little spicy food but my friends liked it. The customer service was good , quick and friendly. We had such an amazing meal at this restaurant! We had ordered shrimp Hakka noodles, chicken hakka noodles, stir fried veggie momos and steamed lamb momos. It all just tasted perfect and what a satiating momos meal we had in a long-long time! Holy these dumplings are insanely good. I haven’t had dumplings that taste like this in a long time. I got the fried chicken dumplings. The white sauce with the hot sauce it comes with are incredible! The Manchurian cauliflower was also yummy but not as good as chicken dumplings. Fries are really nicely crispy & flavoured! So good even as take out.
