Momiji Japanese Restaurant

I tried this place for the first time over my favourite sushi places. It was on Saturday May 14 at 7:30 pm. I called ahead of time to make a reservation as I use to every time, but when I got there with my family we were the only customers at that time. Later on another table was occupied. The place is small and the service is average to low, even though there was no other customers. The food was good with good presentations but not extraordinary. I found the prices a bit too high for the quality of the restaurant.

Sushi craving for today! weve tried to eat our brunch ar Momiji and it was the best decision to do! We love visiting sushi places and this place definitely exceeded the expectations. Fresh, flavorful and excellent presentation and friendly staff! We can’t ask for more! Highly recommend!

I went to Momiji for lunch with my husband and it was great. First of all, service was amazing. Victor was quick to get our orders and served us drinks and miso soup while we waited. Food also came out in a very timely manner. We ordered the blue fin belly tuna sashimi and it tasted heavenly. Just the right balance between fatty and lean. We’ve had blue fin belly tuna before at other restaurants and the one at this restaurant is clearly superior. Highly recommend. We also ordered sushi combo. It comes with some sushi, sashimi, and tempura. THE TEMPURA was the highlight of the meal. Light, crispy, and not oily at all. All of the tempuras were amazing, but my favourite was the sweet potato tempura. It has the perfect blend of crispy, sweetness, and bite to it. Our last order was the Japan roll. The roll has a nice balance between rice and filling. It was a little spicy for me, but my husband loved it. TLDR - 10/10 would recommend. Amazing service and food.

Decent Japanese restaurant. Tasty Maki, a bit more rice than I like but, good overall. Occupies larger space than I remember from visits before. Nicely decorated.Food: 4/5

Had the yam tempura roll and avocado salad. Absolutely exquisite, with clean, delicate, and refined flavours. Will come back for sure!

My family and I are long time customers. We have been coming here for 10+ years I believe even under different ownership. We love the sushi here. It’s always so fresh and consistently great. We always order the spicy seafood udon, and their tempura is the best I’ve had. Always made fresh, and the batter is perfectly light! Ann I believe that is the owners name is so great. She always comes out to talk to us if she sees us and we love her!

Had the most excellent meal here! Very filling and delicious! The service was fast and friendly. Food was top tier. Worth it!

First time had dinner here tonight, ordered 3 orders toro sashimi as so yummy, one 25 pcs sashimi dinner and other food. They did not have uni. Overall not bad in Mississauga for sashimi, will definitely go again.

The Blue Fin Tuna belly was unbelievable. Also would recommend the soft crab, all round amazing experience.Food: 5/5
