Moffat Inn

Room right on the street meant there was a lot of ambient noise from pedestrians. In addition, the small vestibule outside the room frequently had other guests speaking noisily outside our door. Quaint room though, with very comfortable bed. It was a late booking for us, would not normally have stayed at so expensive a venue. It matched going rates so I can understand the cost, but personally had it not been a special and last minute occasion (meaning no vacancy at most local hotels), we would never have stayed here. Personally, it's not worth the asking price.

Inn has been freshened but retains its quaint feel. Not fancy; comfortable and perfect location with kind staff. We opted out of the breakfast option (Prince if Wales is where to go) as the brunch that day was tasteless. Stagecoach is where we went for breakfast instead.

We've stayed here before and had a nice room. We requested the same room and booked it several months in advance. Upon arrival, we were told the room was not available and we were put in the basement!! It was horrific. The room was freezing cold, the sink and tub did not drain, there was no natural light and the amount of stairs we had to climb was ridiculous. We complained but were told there were no rooms available?? In the end we spent 300.00 a night to be housed in a basement. We were offered a 100.00 discount but that wasn't good enough. We never slept and our 3 day get away was ruined. Will never return

Very nice staff. Place was clean. Small but very good if you're only spending the nights in the room. A lot to see around the area so we weren't in the room much!

Great location. Decent amenities. Bathroom in our room was excellent, but the rest of the place is really dated. Staff was friendly and courteous.
