A Tuscan themed Bed & Breakfast in a historic 1818 home, the Burns House. Don't ask for English muffins! Crostinis, fritatas, cappuccino and dolce, yes
A four-room bed and breakfast in downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada in an original 1818 Georgian (Colonial in the U.S.) home (originally built in 1793). Each room is custom designed to reflect the ambience of Tuscany, Italy. One of them has a King bed built in post Renaissance Italy in the mid-1700. The breakfast is entirely Tuscan, four courses with a generous helping of cappuccinos and juice that is freshly squeezed every day. The linen and amenities are Tuscan, as are many of the antiques. It is situated downtown NOTL, only steps away from the three Shaw Festival theatres, dining, shopping, Lake Ontario -- in effect, you just park and walk! Your hosts are Carlotta Cattani, a native of Florence, Italy, and her husband Canadian Zuhair (Kash) Kashmeri, a native of Bombay (Mumbai).
