Tldr: place felt like it was right out of a kdrama. Food was well seasoned, but for my taste buds slightly under seasoned. Ambiance is great, good date spot and a good family outing spot. Service was great and respectful. Food: it was tasty, filling and made me want to go back for sure. It can be found to be slightly under seasoned however it's still pleasant. There is a lot of attention to detail, e.g. the eggs were cut with a design. There is care and love to their food and the high standard they have is apparent. KFC was nice, outside was crunchy however the spicy was not spicy at all for me but it was tasty. I'd love to see other flavors as well since their base chicken was amazing! Vibe: light fun interior, open and well spaced. Makes you happy to be there. The service is kind and polite, and seeing them have lunch during lunch time was also nice. Overall: go for a bite and you will have a good time. Highly recommend for a Korean bite. Vegetarian options: They have a veg ramen broth
Came in Friday evening with a party of 4, were quickly seated, waitresses were polite. Started with the spicy kfc, kimchi fries and teokbboki. All were pretty solid, kfc wasnt spicy but had good flavour, kimchi and bulgogi toppings on the fries were good but the spuds themselves shouldve been fried longer to get a crisper texture, the teokbboki was good flavour wise. For mains we got bulgogi ramyun with pork belly, extra spicy, bulgogi bakeban and UFO ramyun. The bulgogi ramyun was great, flavour on both the beef and pork was amazing and they spiced it correctly, the broth is everything you want in a ramyun, spicy, and fragrant, a huge portion too. The UFO ramyun was solid along with the bakeban!
Using instant noodles? Disappointed that the ramen was made with instant noodles. You can see the square package noodles in the photo. Flavour was good though. The potato noodle dish was better. As you can see the windows need to be cleaned inside. Service was quick in the beginning but the wait staff never came back to check on us. I wouldn't order the ramen but might try some other Korean dish if you're here. We'll likely try another place before coming back here.
My husband and I went here for lunch on a weekday. Wasn't too busy. Service was nice and friendly. Food was okay. The Takoyaki was good but we found the Bibimbap and Jajang Black Ramyun to be bland, lacking in flavour and not balanced. A little pricey for the quality of the food. The overall vibe of the restaurant was okay.
Discovered a new place while at Vaughan Mills. Very busy night time so decided to come back for early dinner. Service was nice and prompt. It was our first time eating here and the Korean dish options are different than what we’re use to. Difficult asking for help as the servers didn’t understand what we were asking. Good come out very hot and we had to wait for it to cool down before eating. Food was tasty and delicious. Portions were good and presentation was typical Korean style. Nice atmosphere and will come here again in the future. Edit: Took a star off since the Baek Jjampong only had one mussel, two shrimps and small squid pieces. Not worth the price which Mo’Ramyun charged
I had the bulgogi baekban and had to order a side of kimchee because there was no banchan or side dishes. It tasted "healthy", somewhat on the bland side, along with the kimchee but I ended up enjoying it in the end. The kimchee was $4 and I literally shrieked. Granted it's Canadian dollars, but that's why the four stars as opposed to the five.
Ordered the don-gol ramyun for $20. What I received was very disappointing. 3 of the tiniest pork bellies I've ever seen. 2 were the same size as the egg!! Tried to rummage through to see if there was any hiding but nope. When I complained to the waiter, his response was "yeah that's your meal". And then walked off. Ramyun was just soggy instant ramen... The most disappointing meal I've ever had. Glad to say I won't be coming back.
Located right next to the Vaughan Mills shopping center 400 & Rutherford. The food is very delicious. We ordered the veggie dumplings, Basic Ramyun & vegetable Ramyun. They cater to vegetarians like myself with vegetarian broth as base for the ramen. We also ordered the fried chicken, it was hot and delicious as well. Will definitely return with a larger group to share this experience.
Service is fine and the environment is ok. Not a busy restaurant. The food quality is an average. I ordered Japchae which is too sweet. If you are hungry and don't want to wait in line, this is your choice. Will I go back? Probably but not in the next few months. There are many choices and better quality.
We were craving Korean food and are soooo glad we gave this place a try! Their signature Mo'Ramyun was delicious and huge!! It was so tasty with all of the toppings! I especially loved their UFO Ramyun! The spicy noodles, chicken, egg, and cheese blended perfectly on the sizzling hot plate! Can't wait to come back!
