food was super delicious! we got the rose and cheese with black sauce braised chicken, i recommend this pairing. the garlic honey pizza was super yummy as well. highly recommend checking out this place if you are in the area. they do not take reservations so if you are a large group, keep that in mind. there was only one person in the front so it was quite busy for him to take orders and bring food out but nonetheless, the staff were very friendly!

I came after watching the BTS Run Show. Everyone is right...the honey garlic pizza was great - remember to ask for it to be extra crispy. I ordered the braised soy based chicken lunch set - it was good. Chicken was very tender and tasty. It didn't come with the glass noodles or dumplings though - you need to have two people to order that version. A bit gutted I came a lot cause I would have loved to try the cheese version too. The best part is dropping in to the Massage place next door. Best foot/leg massage ever if you have time!

Came here on Friday night at 7:30pm and there was no wait. You scan a QR code for the menu. Ordered the cheese black sauce braised chicken and honey garlic pizza. Both were delicious. Comes with complimentary salad and pickled radish.

The new seaweed rice is exceptionally tasty. They provide plastic glove for you making rice ball. This is interesting. The cheese black sauce chicken is consistent to our previous visit. I cannot eat so spicy but within my limit.

Ssangkye Jjimdak Braised Chicken is nestled in a busy plaza in Koreatown North. We came upon seeing the rave reviews for the Korean braised chicken. Upon parking, we immediately noticed an amazing aroma from the restaurant. Thus we followed our nose inside. White Cheese Jjimdak was a no-brainer for us to share. Melted mozzarella came still bubbling hot on top of the braised boneless chicken within a large cast-iron pan. The sweet & spicy red chili paste gochujang brought the comforting dish together for a delicious meal. To begin the meal, salad and pickled radish helped to cleanse our palate. We knew to expect an authentic Korean meal based on the packed dining scene. Braised chicken is popular overseas - happy to have a taste in Toronto!

This was my second time here. Don't come here alone. The chicken usually comes in 2 servings or more. The Honey Garlic Pizza is my favourite item. It's slightly sweet from the honey. The black sauce chicken is slightly spicy. I wish they could add ramen into the dish. It comes with glass noodles though. This place isn't too busy so there wasn't a wait. Our server was great as well. Give it a try if you haven't been to this restaurant. I'll return in the future, but hopefully new items will be added in the future.

Our second time visiting here because we absolutely love this spot. The owners are super friendly and the food is so good. It’s the right spiciness level and they don’t cheap out on the chicken.

Hands down the best Jjimdak! I got the white cheese jjimdak, because I couldn’t say no to all that melted cheese, and indeed was a bomb option. White I waited, I got a free house salad, which was pretty good because the dressing was tasty. 15 mins or so later, I got my jjimdak, and damnn did it look beautiful. The portion size is pretty generous to share between 2. There are also other size options to choose from. I always order this with a beer, because both flavours just sit right with me. You really have heaven in a bowl with this, because it comes with glass noodles, dumplingsI added extra, rice cakes, and cheese stuffed rice cake, and topped up with melted cheese. Ps. A must try for all the army out there!

To all the BTS fans this spot is worth trying. The food is amazing and definitely great place to share. Highly recommend the honey garlic pizza, we wish they made a bigger version. Highly recommend ordering a couple of those to go!

We had the black braised chicken for 2 for takeout. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my liking, and I felt it could be spicier. I'll try the red one next time. Portion could be a bit bigger also.
