Mississauga Celebration Square is located in the heart of the city, right next to the Civic Centre. The space is well designed and hosts a wide range of activities throughout the year. During summer, there are water features and recreational programs, while winter brings ice skating and other seasonal attractions.nnThe City of Mississauga regularly organizes and collaborates on cultural festivals and community events here, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere year-round. Food trucks are usually set up near the main stage during events, adding to the overall experience.nnCelebration Square truly serves as a central gathering place that brings together Mississauga’s diverse communities with a sense of harmony, energy, and togetherness
Living on the 32nd floor right in front of Mississauga Celebration Square feels like being part of the city’s heartbeat. The view is always alive — from concerts and cultural festivals to the sparkling lights of the fountains and the skating rink in winter. It’s the perfect blend of energy and beauty, where you can enjoy the excitement of city life while relaxing with breathtaking skyline views. Whether it’s the sound of music drifting up on summer evenings or the peaceful glow of the Square at night, every day brings something new and special to enjoy.
Celebration Square in Mississauga is a vibrant and energetic public space that offers something for everyone year-round. Whether it’s summer or winter, the square always feels alive and welcoming.nnI’ve visited multiple times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. In summer, the splash pad and outdoor movie nights are a big hit with families. In winter, the area transforms into a beautiful skating rink with lights and music, which creates a festive vibe.nnThe square also hosts amazing cultural events and festivals like Canada Day celebrations, Diwali, MuslimFest, and more—truly reflecting the diverse community of Mississauga. The large open space, big screen, and performance stage make it ideal for public events and gatherings.nnFood trucks, nearby cafes, and restaurants add to the experience, and there’s plenty of seating and shaded areas to relax. The space is clean, well-maintained, and accessible.nnThe only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the parking situation—it can get quite crowded on weekends and during big events, and finding a spot nearby can take some time. But if you’re using public transit or parking a bit early, it’s manageable.nnOverall, it’s a fantastic place for families, friends, and visitors. Highly recommended!
Mississauga Celebration Square is one of the city’s main landmarks and the center of almost all major festivals and community events. It’s always lively, especially in the summer, with concerts, cultural shows, food trucks, and family activities. I definitely recommend visiting, but unfortunately at night it sometimes gets a bit dirty because some people don’t clean up after themselves.
Celebration Square has always been one of our favorite places in the GTA. It is lively, fun, and full of energy. In the summer, it becomes a popular spot for families to gather until late. It has one of the best splash pads in town. You can enjoy evening snacks from the regular food trucks, and my personal favorite was the crepe truck. We have so many fun memories here!
