Highly recommended! First of all, I have to say service here is top-notch. So welcoming and friendly. I had a hard time deciding as everything on the menu looked so good. But I decided on the Miso Tan Tan Deluxe recommended by the server. It did not disappoint!!! So yummy and has just a little bit of spice that sort of creeps up on you!!! And huge serving too. You couldn’t tell from the outside how big this place is. Lots of tables, nice modern interior. Lots of parking available in the area. Will definitely come back whenever I have a hankering for great ramen
The place is beautiful and clean, the server was so nice and gentle, she gave an amazing suggestion to my wife, the food was amazing and we love the broth. Portions were more than perfect and the service was incredible. So far this is más favorite place to eat ramen in Edmonton.
Misoya Ramen is a life saver for me. Granted, there are higher quality ramen establishments in Edmonton but many of those close their doors mid day when their stock runs out. Misoya is open late so you can always count on them for dinner or for a late night craving. The ramen is delicious. For most of us, we cannot differentiate quality as some ramen connoisseurs. But the food is very good if you just want quality food. The space is warm and has lots of character. And the service is always great and friendly. The front line staff is always eager to walk you through the menu and the varying options. With your order, they are also able to make all sorts of adjustments to cater to your tastes. The only concern is parking. Misoya is in the heart of downtown on the busy revitalized 104 Street. It's sometimes impossible to find parking anywhere near. Just be cautious of any concerts or hockey games going on at Rogers Place down the road on a night when you want to visit.
AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! AWESOME!!! A great place of Asian cuisine with a wonderful interior, delicious ramen and excellent service. I was lucky enough to come to the restaurant at the time of opening on Sunday. And I was pleased with the spacious, light flooded room with a beautiful view of 104th Street. I would attribute the Ramen Misoya interior to a combination of Japanese traditional style thanks to the combination of dark and light furniture; a front partition on top resembling Japanese screens made of bamboo and rice paper; chandeliers as if made of bamboo sticks and loft style. The Gold Kome Cha-Shu dish I ordered which is also a restaurant recommendation deserves special attention. This is soft and tender wheat noodles in golden broth. Pieces of fried potatoes, cabbage, bean sprouts, green onions, miso, slices of Cha-Shu meat cooked in a special way, all this created an incredible taste, satisfying and at the same time a little sour and rich. The portion was impressive. To absorb this delicacy, the waitress brought special devices, noodle sticks and Chinese spoon for broth. The cost of dishes in the Ramen Misoya restaurant is quite reasonable. We were the first visitors that day, so we didn't lack attention. The waitress was polite, attentive and helpful. It was my first ever ramen. And I'm not going to avoid anymore because I've had such a wonderful experience.
The advertising on the website made it look absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I went there and it was quite underwhelming. My broth wasn't all that flavourful and the dumplings tasted store bought. But I thoroughly enjoyed my ramen egg and my pork bun was super yummy as well! Would also recommend the pork chatsu!
Sooo darn good! So much flavour and lord of options on the menu. The mango cold rolls are absolutely out of this world, including the homemade mango dipping sauce. the Brussels sprouts are super yummy, even when ordered for delivery through third party. I was expecting them to be mildly soggy but not at all! I have been hooked on this place ever since going one evening with my friend. We both felt sad when we realized she left her to-go container on the table it’s too good to accidentally leave behind!! Love the space too, it has a nice vibe and the super high ceilings at the front make for a nice touch.
We chose to order online from this restaurants because of the good reviews. I received the order confirmation at 07:47 pm and had the pick up time at 08:07 pm. We went to the restaurant and we had to wait for a while before someone helped us. We were told that it’ll take 15 minutes more, and so we waited. 15 minutes went by and the waitress told us to wait for a little bit more. Several others came and they were also told to wait 15 mins, I guess that’s the generic response they give to everybody. At this time we’ve waited 30 mins and the waitress came with our order, only to realize that we are missing one order, so we were forced to wait another 10 mins! In total we waited for 40 mins. We also noticed that they kept accepting new customers for dine in, and most sit there long before they get their orders taken or are able to pay or get their bills. When we were finally able to eat, the noodles were cold and tough. Our hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the restaurant, but since we had to wait extra 10 mins for the order they failed to make, I guess it made the soup and noodles cold. The food is not worthy for the long waiting time.
I came here with a friend and there is street parking everywhere around here, including on the street in front of the store. We got the Mango Shrimp Salad Roll to start - it's a shrimp tempura with mango slices and a tasty mayo dipping sauce. It reminds me of peach shrimp or a junior chicken from McDonald's. For our ramen, we got the Spicy Golden Kome added an egg and the Vegetable Tan Tan added chicken karaage for a porkless option. The ramen was flavourful and filling, so it's worth coming back again. With an appetizer to share and a ramen each, it was about $25+ including tips. Service is great as well — employees are friendly and accommodating. If you come here after 6PM or on Sundays, the parking is free in the immediate area — just check the parking machines in your parking area.
Overall experience: excellent! Yummy yummy! Without doubt, I’ll go again personally! The special combo is worthy for sure! Nice place!
Amazing spot downtown with authentic ramen! Extremely delicious, high quality service and a “stick to the basics menu” with the popular essentials! Overall highly recommended
