Fun camping for the family if you’re just looking to get away from the city for a few days. Service is very friendly and accommodating. I was put up in the overflow area which in itself wasn’t a bad spot next the the ball diamond and an open field. Trails and lake were close by. No sooner did I have my trailer set up, someone came along and advised me of an open spot. The camping areas are spacious with plenty of trees to give you a slight secluded privacy feel. Full power hookups. We explored a few trails and found some eatable berries. The lake was something to be desired, but definitely no complaints. Much needed break from the city and an enjoyable time with the family.

Beautiful lake area, but go for a walk to the beaver ponds in the extensive and well signed trail system - it's my favourite part.. Stayed in group site, which has cookhouse, quite a few powered sites, well-kept pit toilets, fresh water supply. Sani-dump on-site, clean and beautiful day use area with lots of parking/easy access for all sized vehicles.

Campground is decent; older loops are tight. Decent store. No useful lake here or swimming. Best feature - close to edmonton

Lovely camping spots, nice playgrounds and cute visitor centre and gift shop. Unfortunately they advertise having a beach, but the beach is crappy, swampy and stinky with very little sand.
