The pool is reasonably priced, and decent for a small town pool. It definitely needs some attention and upgrades, but overall the kids have fun.nnThe free spray park is a great treat for the kids. Bring a picnic and a blanket to relax on while they play. not enough benches/tables for everyonennP.s. they have free WiFi!
Pool is pretty great, but I honestly expected a little more.... maybe just a little better after the renovations? It feels cramped and like it fell short of what my expectations were. Wetaskiwin swimming pool has a great design and WAY better hours than here. The hours are actually terrible here. Wish you were open more. I also took some issue with the fact that there are no signs up anywhere, but you have a lifeguard saying you can't take a floaty down the lazy river, yet let all the little kids in their floaties go down the river. I'm sorry, but if it's a safety issue, there should be posted signs, as well as the same rules for all. This split rules with no signs thing will get someone yelled at yet, I'm sure.
The swimming lessons subscription system is like in Soviet Union. It's a shame! The way it's organized, with people coming 3 hours before it starts to wait in the lines outside of the pool! Online system doesn't work properly. I'm wondering how much taxpayer's money been spent on this garbage!
