Mindemoya Court Cottages & Campground

Very nice and cozy cottages. The entire camp is well kept and the staff are as nice as can be. The rates are more than reasonable. If you're looking to get away from the grind and unplug, sleep in a quiet and peaceful cabin, and fish your heart out, this is the first place I would recommend. They have boat rentals and a dock if you want to bring your own vessel. The owners/managers are on site 24/7 to run this family business. One night it rained pretty hard through the evening and the next morning I came down to the dock to our boat rental from MCCC to bail out water and the camp owner Greg was already there with a shop vacuum, finishing ridding the boat of water. Thanks for a great and memorable trip! Hope to see you guys again next year, 2023!

We stayed an extra night - so clearly enjoyed our time here. Part of it's charm is that it's a small sight and on a lake. Great welcome and a pleasant 4 night stay. The bathrooms are serviceable, but could do with an update.Service: 5/5

The main grounds are on a higher elevation, making the waterfront difficult to navigate for some of us. Fantastic amenities and great stay overall though. Great location not far from necessities.

We enjoyed our stay. Great friendly customer service, very clean park and quiet. Definitely recommend visiting here and will be looking for accommodation again on a next visit. Thank you!!

This campground is small and we had minor electrical issues, the electrical system seemed unstable at least at our site. I am glad we did not the air conditioning as the electricity supplied even though it was a 30 amp hook up would not have been likely to support it, our induction cook top would turn off if it drew more than 1000 Watts. As I say this was a minor issue, and we were able to recharge batteries and had gas back up for other things. Redundancy is key. So even with this minor issue this place is an oasis, a wonderful little spot that I would definitely go back to.

14 years ago we discovered this wonderful place and its wonderful owners. It is our vacation home. It is a pleasure to enjoy the rain from the covered terrace, sunbathing or contemplating the amazing starry sky from the deck or snuggle up with a good book in the charming cottage. Peace and quiet times alternate with activity of the children on the playground or sport activities. Enough room to socialize around the fire pit or to watch the amazing sunset from the lake. Great place to be!

Loved it here. Very clean, beautifully kept sites. Not a lot of privacy between sites, but mostly trailers and RVs.

Great atmosphere, staff very helpful and area is great for families with kids to play at the park or have a fire at night. We will be back again next year for sure.

Been coming to Manitoulin for over 40 yrs..now i bring my kids This place is the best!! Beautiful and clean, close to everything!! We feel like family every year when we return.. Would not consider staying somewhere else.

The campground and location is very nice. It was quiet, and there looked to be a fair bit for kids to do. It's really the cabin that was poor. There was simply nothing cozy or comfortable about it. It had all the kitchen appliances and tools needed - the usual assortment you would find from garage sales etc. The sofa that pulls out into a bed had absolutely no support anymore either sitting or lying. The chair in the room wasn't much better. The beds were ok, but had an underlying odor as did the chest of drawers in the room. The water may have been potable but it had a horrible taste and left a film / scum when used for tea or coffee so we ended up buying water. Bring ALL your supplies. In all the times we have travelled and rented places this was the first place that did not provide scrubbers to clean pots, dish cloths or dish towels. There was a little container to provide the first day or two of dish soap, but it was empty. The "modern 3 piece bath" they claim on their website for 2 bedroom cottages is a joke. The cheapest, bottom of the line utilities are used - screws in the wall to serve as hooks. On the 4th night we went to use the bbq and the propane tank was empty. We rented cottage #6 which is advertised as pet friendly. What is not noted is there is an extra charge if you do bring a pet.
