Dawson's Resort

Love it, the people are great and the cabins are just what we needed for a great vacation

We have been going to Dawson's resort since the late 1980's and enjoyed every year. Rustic, calming, inviting, not to mention great fishing, friends and scenery best describe the resort to me. The owners are about the nicest people on earth and bend over backwards to help you enjoy your time.

Just had a lovely relaxing week at Dawson Resort. Weather was a tad chilly at times but the fireplace and generous firewood supply helped with that. Well maintained and comfortable clean cottages. Helpful people. Manitoulin is a beautiful island with great sunsets. Hope to be back next year.

I fell in love with Manitoulin Island and Dawson Resort back in 1964. The owners were Nelda and Colin Montgomery the nicest people I have ever met. They did everything to help me enjoy my vacation. Rustic cottages, very clean, great fishing. Here I am 58 years later and heading back to Manitoulin Island again.

Rustic quaint little cabins, nestled inbetween hundred yr old cedar trees, overlooking the shores of Lake Kagawong. They offer boat rentals, a small sandy beach for the kids and old-time family hospitality to warm your spirits with welcomed beginnings and future returns. Nice fishing retreat for anglers all alike.

So quiet and relaxing had a great ten day vacation. It was great to spend time with the in-laws they are beautiful people.
