Fred's Camp and Cottages

Been coming here for years. Great location., wonderful owners. Camping or cabins take your pick. It is a natural Wonderland for kids. We literally arrive, open the car door kick the kids out and tell them to be back for dinner. Our kids have been coming here every summer their whole life.peacocks, rabbits, chickens and deer roam freely around. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming. Cool out on the dock or dive from the floating platform. The water is invigorating. Come and expect beautiful views, lots of campfires and a warm hearted no shenanigans host.

I was hoping for a little more private campground. That being said. The campgrounds and facilities where clean, the shower had lots of pressure . The owners where helpful and friendly . My children really enjoyed the animals that walked freely around the campgrounds.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to 5 Start plus. I would definitely be coming back in the future months and years and I would be inviting my family and friends to come over to visit.

Family friendly environment with beautiful views and well kept property. Highly recommend all to make the trip and check out this gem !

Naturally beautiful camp. Very friendly owners. Far enough away from the town's but close enough if you forget anything.

What can I say. A splendid stay for a group of 8 fellows I have been canoeing with since 1986. We chose this spot as a trip end wind down. Loved it.

Fred’s camp is a wonderful place to relax. It is very quiet and the owners are a great and friendly host, it’s so impress to see peacocks and chickens wondering the hold camp ground, such as bunny’s! They have a beautiful scenery of the lake. The water is so clear, the stairs to get down to the lake are made very well. The bathrooms and showers are incredibly clean and very rustic which is amazing! Delfinetly looking forward to returning soon!

What a neat place! Excellent hosts, cant say enough about how friendly and laid back they are. Very nice washrooms and showers. The first campground I've been to with Chickens & Peacocks wandering around, which I thought was pretty cool. Great place with great scenery and awesome star viewing from the dock on the lake at night.

Robert was an amazing host. We had a great time at his cottage. The place was beautiful with stunning views. The lake and neighborhood were great. Robert is very friendly and supportive. He was there to help us out and was a good guide. We had such a great weekend there and we are planning to visit again
