I recently rented this restaurant for my birthday, and it was an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure the party was a success. Mathieu, the manager, was very easy to reach and super pleasant. The food was excellent and beautifully presented; we had chosen a menu option for the group, which was efficient. I also had the option of putting my own music. My guests and I had a blast, and I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or gathering of 30-40 people. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!
Great spot! Service and ambiance were amazing. We had an amuse bouche that was great, followed by of course steak frites. The sauce was delicious and the fries were perfect. Look forward to a fresh salad or soup of the day! Dessert was also awesome. To drink we had a crisp white beer and a martini. Next time we will go with my vegetarian family member so that they can try the homemade vegan patty!
A great spot for a classic steak et frites. Good steak and good drinks with a lovely ambiance. The menu is small only steak but it has vegan option too, which is great for people with dietary restrictions. The steak was very good - flavourful pepper sauce and great fries. The martinis were excellent as well.
Its my second time here, and I decided to bring my family for my brother's birthday and it was a huge hit as expected. We got a bottle of wine and 2 appetizers, the table d'hôte and 1 dessert each! Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this charming spot for your next date night or friends outing.Recommended dishes
What a wonderful discovery! We were looking for a nice steak house while in MTL and found this one on Google map. We loved the retro decor and the food was all good. The appetizer was the best. Grilled green cabbage with chipotle sauce. Service was very good.
Great service! I had ordered my steak medium rare, but I was served rare. They didn't hesitate to cook it a little bit longer. The fries were absolutely delicious. Love the very simple menu: table d'hôte with one entrée soup of the day or salad and one 7oz steak/frite meal* for 45$+tx *vegan alternative available
Went to Mignon a week ago and the service and the food was amazing! The menu is super simple and straight to the point! I really love the ambiance of this place super casual with a fine dining feel! We were served by Matt super nice and the customer service really good! Highly recommend going to mignon for any occasion!! I’ll forsure tell more people to go here
Amazing spot... picking up the torch from the shuttered L'Entrecote St. Jean. I hit this place up at around 9pm on a Saturday, and sat at the bar. Very chill vibe and good sized crowd inside and outside. Daily specials included a fois gras/beignet app, which was incredible. Soup was a very creamy potato, and was to die for! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the shoestring fries were great. The signature sauce was amazing on both the steak and the fries. The host and bartender bought me a shot as the night was winding down. Altogether a great experience, great food, and terrific vibe. Highly recommend!
Located in the old what was thought to be eternal...but nothing ever is Dilallo Burger joint, Mignon does keep the heritage going with a meat focused menu offering...in fact, it is a very limited menu offering steak or a veggie option. If you are OK with that then Mignon is a very nice and pleasant place to spend an evening eating out. The ambiance is subdued and quiet with pleasant and appropriate music playing in the background. Hence, this would be a good date night option. Essentially, it is a steak-frites offering with a peppercorn sauce on the steak with thin cut fries. The meal is prefaced with a simple salad. A French bistro classic but it is served quickly and effciently...so no complaints. There are a few other options like scallops and shrimps but you should really go if steak-frites is your vibe. Enjoy! Parking: Welcome to St. Henri...parking is always a struggle...if you can't find street parking then you can take a chance and park BEHIND the Pharmaprix just west down Notre Dame but before Atwater and then walk the 150-200m to Mignon just don't tell them I suggested it :.
Great service and atmosphere. Food was great but on the expensive side for such a small cut. And I know it's not the place for a vegetarians, but the vegan steak was uneditable, wouldn't recommend. Over a great experience, and tasty martini's!!Food: 3/5
