Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seneca Falls

Unless looking to revisit your college dorm room glory days, shop around. Standard rooms are very confining, beds/pillows uncomfortably firm for anyone who is not accustomed to sleeping on plywood. No fridges offered so at all hours of the night, noisy ice machines can clearly be heard from anywhere on the floor. First room I was given had a sink that wouldn't drain and the second room had no cold running water in the sink and a toilet that ran sporadically without human intervention (weird). On the upside, the location is inexpensive and - from what I've discerned - seems to be a clean and tidy place but cleanliness alone doesn't rank enough points on my scoreboard to give any better of a review. A good night's sleep might, however. Next time, perhaps I'll opt for the suite and hope for the best.

Arrived at 10:30 at night, had to wait 10 minutes at front desk to check in. Entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke. Air conditioner shuts off during the night. Free breakfast is great.

Got there early and told me I would ave to wait. That as ok.Kept telling more how bus they wee the day before and not enough help. Finally came back at 3 pm and still not ready. We where catching a bus to a wedding at 4:30 At 3:15 room still not ready. She told me again how busy they were and not enough of help.Finally got in ready room at 3:30 and had to make bus. My cousins room had hair in the tub. Compared to others, very unsatisfactory.

Basic motel, nothing fancy. It is clean & offers a decent assortment for continental breakfast

Inexpensive little hotel. But room had hole in the roof. Rained on my shoes. They were soaked by morning. Hotel staff did not seem concerned when told
