Came to the store instead of buying online which would be easier and a better experience. Was there for over an hour, nobody said hi, which is fine.. retail these days. Get to the cash, and a person named Maria took me and was trying to rush me out with no line up in the middle of day. When I said I’d like to get the 30% and wanted to give the code, she rudely said she needed a bar code and I said, okay, just give me a second please. Do you know how I can get one? No eye contact, just looked absolutely miserable. I’ve worked retail and honestly this was the driest experience at a craft store? Hire more personable people or at least tell them to smile, a little. She could be having a bad day but I genuinely tried my best to be pleasant with her. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Buying online or just not from Michael’s in the future.

The 1st time going to this particular store…my store didn’t have any left. They were very quick to complete my online order and have it ready…took under 30 minutes.

I love Michael's! It's everything an arts and craft store should be. I love waking up and down the aisles like a kid in a candy store thinking of all the possibilities of what you can do with all that nifty stuff!nIt takes me back to when I was a kid and stood looking at all the stuff in the craft stores while waiting for my mom to choose fabric or some other crafty stuff.

A nice and wider selection of art tools, all deliberately genuine art. However the ad models for some of the seasonal Halloween items are AI generated not the item itself. It does not seem to be intentional, so I give a higher score than deserres where it is deliberately full of AI generate garbage.

called this place 4 times tonight. two times i was clearly hung up on. The next two times the phone was picked up and left alone so i could hear the employees talking about birthday parties and their week ends and all kinds of good stuff. Could a manager please reach out to me? I know service has gone down hill for the last decade but this is next level.
