We only tried the mango mousse cake which was light and airy. Not overly sweet as it was a hit with the young and old. Will have to try their breads based on the raving reviews! This place has been in the area for decades. A hit with the locals.

This is now our go to bakery. They have a buckwheat gluten free option which is amazing. My partner and i are sensitive to gluten and i tried their european sourdough, and we didn’t get any adverse reaction. They use the real sourdough starter so that reduces the gluten content. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good loaf. Also tried their mango mousse cake, super refreshing and not too sweet. Love and really appreciate this place.

Breads are amazing and the staffs as well. Coffee is fresh and the place is enjoyable!

A friend brought us a box of Michael’s all the way down from Surrey to our home in Seattle. They were out of biscottis by the time he got there, but we had a delightful assortment of shortbread cookies with chocolate chips, jams, pistachios, and some plain options. All of them were absolutely delicious and we were floored with how tasty they were. It’ll definitely be a stop along the way on our next road trip up north!

Have been a regular customer for at least the past 4 years. Everything I’ve had, breads, desserts, curry turnovers…all delicious. The cheese cake cups are excellent; I take them to family functions - everyone raves about them. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I was told this was a great place for lunch but nobody ever said it's also a fantastic bakery! I didn't see it on the menu so I asked if they could make me a clubhouse sandwich. Yes they can and along with it I had some baby size shortbread cookies and a cup of fresh full body coffee ! As I went to pay I noticed allot more baked goods than I first noticed so I took home a mincemeat tart and a peanut butter cookie , to my delight they both brought me a sweetness and joy moment. Micheal's is now my newest go to lunch place and the bakery will also stay in my destination for goodies.

All I have to say this is fabulous bakery with mandible sweet sensations.i tried their products many times as each time taste much lavent with pietro experience. The owner is such a bastille human crimsnti. The foods are cheap also affordable even you are incompetent. Such as novelties never regret as you daringly counting this. Thank you Thank you

I went to this bakery to get their famous BLT on bacon sour bread, extra large chocolate chip cookie and I wanted to try the pumpkin seeds and mango bread. I had only a $20 bill with me and I was 40 cents short. The kind lady at the counter said that's ok and took 40 cents from their tip box and settled the balance of my bill. What a great service!

I got the French loaf, lemon square and scone. Later I got a pre-wrapped box of cookies, which I shared with my client and was a HIT! The food was amazing. The fact that the bread was still steaming they had to wrap it in a paper bag, gives you an idea of the freshness. My recommendation is to pick up the bread or buns in the morning and grab some sliced meat & cheese from a nearby grocery store. You'll have a delicious lunch, and it won't be too complicated. I traveled from ON to BC, and this was a treasured find. If you live in Surrey, you're lucky you have this place.
