World class facility with first class Vegas level service from the doorman to the hotel staff to the top management. Mr Matt Buckley is a perfectionist at ensuring all staff always exhibit top level service with hospitality.  The concierge Shanee always goes out of her way to help us at every stay. She has the warmest smile and exudes enthusiasm. A top level employee. Wolfgang Puck restaurant is 5 stars in class, professional  service and food quality. Go for the corner executive suites that offer separate bedroom.  They are like a mini apartment and great for our family including our 9 year old.  Doesn’t feel like a casino in this room which is what we prefer. 
  There is not a close second in Detroit in hotels or casinos so experience a true value and look no further when visiting.  Almost forgot the best part THE POOL AND SPA.  Right out of Architectural Digest. It is a must see and could be a spa you’d find anywhere in the world.

Went with my husbands to the MGM Casino to just walk around in a different atmosphere, drink some red bulls and have a happy night together. This night was my husband's 1st time at the MGM Grand Casino, so we signed him up for a player's card. Everything happened good for us this night! Found out he had a $10 free play and I had a $5 free play; so we used that (+ some) to play some slots and have a good night out together for a couple hours. All the workers at the service desks we're super helpful and the wait staff was very happy and polite towards us. Everything

The casino is large and well laid out. It's easy to move throughout the casino. The new clear non-smoking area is a bit awkward. The bar in the center of the casino has been redone and looks great. There is a great mix of both new and old machines. Parking is free and the casino is easy to locate from many expressways.

Out of the three we have in Detroit this is the only one that feels like a true casino. I've lost alot more then I've made but always have a good time. Staff is top notch they have a great variety of table games and slot. Always clean never too smoky ..I always feel that I get bang for my dollar. Comps are fair and I've never felt the machines or games were set up. If I have one complaint is that I don't make enough to visit more often

Not terrible. I don't really "get" casinos or the allure of pumping slots with money, but it was a pretty decent night. I will say that Taps makes one hell of a good New York strip steak. The room wasn't anything to write home about. It seemed to be clean so that's good right?
