Rooms were just okay, stink bugs were everywhere and facility is in need of an overhaul. Breakfast was less than appetizing - especially when you see scrambled eggs coming out of the kitchen in a plastic bag. However, none of that prompted me to write a review. Instead, I’m writing this because we stayed for two nights and my credit card was charged for three. When I called the hotel about it Amanda said there was nothing she could do and I needed to talk to the manager in the morning. This is most frustrating since the receipt I got under my door the day of checkout was for two nights. Even worse, we were charged $140/night for a hotel whose rack rate is probably in the $75/night range. We were there for a hockey tournament and booked far in advance through the tournament so we were totally ripped off due to the circumstances. I will call tomorrow and ensure the extra night is taken off, but what an awful experience.

Staff enters your room while you're not there without permission. Rooms are outdated and under equipped. We couldn't get the heat to shut off and room became unbearably hot and we had to leave. Hardly any rooms have a fridge and microwave. Upon check in 5 minutes before check in time we were told there would be a 30 minute wait and to come back, when we did we were told he gave our room away and we were told we would have to wait longer this turned in to a total wait of 1 hour 15 minutes past check . Desk clerk was rude and showed no concern for our wait. I won't return and I'll be going back to the Baymount on my Port Huron stays.

The lady that checked us in greeted us was a smile and was proficient and friendly. The room was basic...two beds and a bathroom. It was clean and smelled that way. The pool was well stocked with towels...warm...clean...the hot tub, although only one jet works, was nice and hot and relaxing. The only negative is the noise level in the rooms...we could hear the people walking around in the room above us as well as the traffic outside... Turning on the fan on the heater helped drown out all the sounds though. I'd definitely book this room again especially for the price!

I'll never stay here again. I come to the area often for work. Comfort Inn is my prefered hotel chain. This Comfort Inn is awful. I can hear everything going on in the hallway. I asked the front desk for a new key because I locked mine in my room. They asked me for my room number and then gave me a new key without asking for ID or looking up to make sure I was actually in that room. They make a huge point at checkin to stress they are not responsible for anything lost or stolen but their room doors will stay open after exiting and their front desk staff give it room Keys without ID. Only about 10 channels on the television worked. This is the second time the room had a leaky faucet in the shower.

Great rates, very clean and comfortable. Love the staff. And they have a good breakfast.
