I ordered a hungry man special today. On the surface the meal seems no different from a breakfast. However, the bread is well toasted, the eggs are well fried, the steak is tendon and the spaghetti in soup is chewy. The tea element of their HK style milk tea is rich, though less creamy and silky. The red bean curd pork hock noodle in soup is highly recommended. The pork hock is nicely preserved. The attendants are very nice, polite and attentive. The place is also clean. The sun room is sufficient and delightful.
This is a more traditional Hong Kong style restaurant. The menu covers the majority of traditional dishes plus some innovative items. Quality of food is acceptable and price is fair. The restaurant is not big but is having a designated takeout table. The service is friendly and efficient. Overall it is clean and hygienic.
I used to come here a lot with my family for breakfast, but they've raised their prices significantly since then so we don't go anymore. I went this weekend with a friend for lunch, and got the baked cheesy chicken with tomato sauce on rice. It was quite good but the chicken was a bit too salty if you eat it by itself, and sometimes it was mostly batter. But they gave A LOT of chicken pieces so it was worth it. My friend got the steak in black pepper sauce lunch set C and I was surprised that was really good too since I don't usually like that sauce. The steak was really soft and easily chewable, but it was kinda small and expensive. I also like their iced lemon tea since it has enough syrup in it unlike other places
I was in the area looking for dinner, the food court closed early but Metro Square Cafe Restaurant was still open so I bought take out from them. The food was made fresh to order and the price was higher than other restaurants in the area. For my order, it came with the soup of the day Cream of corn and a hot lemon tea. Parking: Free parking at the Metro Square
Ordered 2 takeouts, food not bad but too much oil. The container is small compared to other restaurants. For the price, I expected more… I changed one order to a different noodle and they didn’t bother to tell me it cost more. Funny thing, I found a piece of plastic inside my food.. It wasn’t busy when I came in to pick up so maybe next time have the employees check the food before packing.
Have been coming to this place for over a year now, since my friends introduced me to it. The place is clean with a good atmosphere. Service has always been good and courteous. My favorite meal is the filet mignon dinner. The 2 pieces are a of generous proportions, and cooked as ordered. The accompanying dishes and drink are ok, but that's not why I am here for. A similar dinner offering at other restaurants will easily cost 3 or 4 times more. So this is value for your money. Highly recommend this place, as demonstrated by my repeated visits.
milk tea Steak w/ instant noodle steak is fine. The instant noodle is meh Pineapple bun w/ butter pineapple bun was sold out. Given regular bun instead. The bread itself is average. Overall average

Food was pretty good. Price not to expensive. Milk tea needs improvement, lacking black tea flavour.Food: 3/5
2022-11-22: this is a nice option when I'm craving for HK-style western food. The portion of the sizzling hot plate is generous.
